Im in St.Louis , the highs for the rest of this week and next week is 18 and below ,single digits Sunday , Monday and Tuesday 9 and 5 degrees .

This....all the way. On snow and ice actually. It's not a cure-all, but you want to keep your wheels rolling, not locking. They lock....you're definitely going where ice and inertia want you to go. ....keep a shitload of distance between you and the cars ahead of you....go slow and think 5...6 steps ahead....no quick turns, no brake jamming.

Of course when it's in an area that doesn't see iced up roads hardly ever, all that goes out the window...like, I can watch a tornado safety vid, but if a funnel cloud hits near me, I'm probably gonna do some shit that seems stupid to somebody from fuckin Kansas.

Best advise for people out there....call out if you can't work from home....not worth it. Don't care what you're driving.

When you suddenly discover that you have rolled onto a patch of black ice. DON'T SLAM ON THE BRAKES!!!..As a matter of fact, do as little as possible. Lift off the accelerator and try to resist the urge to add large steering inputs...

made it thru work today (onsite). teleworking next week, so for the next 9 days i don't have to drive anywhere. Got food in the fridge. Gym in the garage. i'm good.
