remember just 2 years ago the same weather pattern happend during the superbowl weekend...i was headed down I-75 going to atlanta
and it got colder as i got further south...it was negitive-15 degress in lexington KY...i swear i kept hearing my windshield snapping and popping
every time i hit a nice size crack in the road..i never seen it that cold south of the mason dixon line.....

The key to driving in snow and ice weather,,, Drop your speed 1/2 or 3/4 of the speed limit, Increase your space from the car in front of you by 2 or 3 car lengths, dont be in no hurry!! Stay home if possible, but if you gotta go to work and you start a 3,, leave the house at 1!! So what if you get their early, better than being 2-3hrs late!!

Cats (not necessarily Texas) talked a lot of shit about Atlanta during Snowmageddon. As if Northerners are somehow smart or better drivers because they deal with these conditions every year. To that I'd say...move.

With global warming these weather events will happen more often.

Man I remember back in 2010 I went to the NBA All-Star game at Cowboys stadium. Rented a car for the weekend. Snowed 2 inches with ice. Muthafuckas was crashing into everything. TexDot wasn't prepared to handle it. City had to import salt from Tennessee. Shit was a mess. I stayed off the roads. People in Dallas can't drive in snow for shit.

all you have to do is slow down and maintain distance to give yourself time to stop
