NBA Season is Returning This Year!!!!!!!

To be fair, I didn't say anybody was hating this time. But there are a few that want to see him fail solely off the fact that he gets compared to Bron and they don't want to see Curry "lead a team" even though he has done it before and it started against my team the Nuggets. Led them to a upset as a 6 seed and that's where his greatness really took off if you ask me.

But the main point is that his greatness is always in question and always teetering there's always detraction and limits

"He's the best shooter and that's all he can do"

"He's not actually a point guard"
Etc
Etc
Someone asked on tv this year whether he could get his own shot

Channing frye fresh off of getting swept by Steph said his legacy is on the line this year lol

Luka Curry didnt trend last night and when you go on twitter nobody is pitting them against each other. You dont see Luka fans clowning Curry for losing. There are more Curry LeBron tweets last night and today.

Even in this thread, LeBron has been mentioned more than Luka in regards to Steph since last night. Steph Curry, like MJ and Kobe before him is only weaponized against Black people. People are starting to notice that. Its not on him, but alot of his fanbase is racist and colorist. They want to use him to create a class heirarchy amongst Black men in the NBA. Golden State has openly racist ownership and they based in the Bay so it isnt surprising.

Bro why are you surprised? He was doing that when KD or Klay wasn’t there.. Him and KD are alike in their skill set where they can get busy no matter what personnel they have around them

I'm not surprised at all.

I think the thing that had me going was the fact that the media was all like "Steph can't do it because he has no help... no KD, no klay, just him and a bunch of youngsters" and that didn't sit right with me, especially after watching Harden take the Rockets to the playoffs year after year with little to me help at all.... the teams had great chemistry, but were definitely lacking the star power needed to beat the Warriors in a 7 game set... so to me this team is on par with just about every team Harden had and he made it to the playoffs 8 years in a row, why can't Steph put these guys on his back and get them there? That's what my biggest gripe was.

If he said that shit he needs to be OFF TV in its entirety... matter fact, he shouldn't even be allowed to have a TV in his home... burn them all

Bro it wasn’t Harden it was strictly coaching on the rockets part because Harden had CP3 and still couldn’t put it together ultimately and a large credit to the winning in Houston you have to give to CP3 because he’s a better coach on the floor than D’Phoni was on the bench and it showed

"“Yes they won championships, I guess that’s all that matters,” Frye said. “But I think at the end, I’m just saying this as someone on the outside, it almost looks like it diminishes everything that was accomplished beforehand. It takes away the lore of the Warriors. Until the Warriors go back without him, it’s like, ‘Well, you had to have a stacked team with five Hall of Famers on it.’ … This is the question, and this is unfair, but can Steph do that now?”

Again completely ignoring him dragging Jarrett Jack Leandro Barbosa and David Lee to the playoffs and then a ring.

1st that's a got damn lie lmaoooo
Warriors fan's don't care about Lebron James because warriors fans won 3 rings against lebron james
Why would you be obsessed with someone you already beat regularly?
its the exact OPPOSITE LOL

Luka has no fans that are black we drive the culture.
White cats said he was going to be the MVP this year based off the bubble shit they came back with the same squad and ain't in the playoffs so far.
Warriors had 9 players these past 2 games Luka got blown out 1st night
2nd night needed the ref to make sure porzingas was in bounds to pull out a win

Lebron and Curry on the same side FOR ME always have been always will be
that's YALL that are insecure and threatened whenever he's mentioned.

and please get the fuck out of here talking about ownership
and being based in the bay

don't even begin to start that dumb shit
America is racist
where you live its racist too

The truth is in the margins lol

The warriors lost out on 4 peating by 4 points lol.

And this isn't me saying Dame isn't a great player he absolutely is
He has absolutely iconic moments
Plays great sent ppl packing he's done so much and is so good

And still isn't in curry's league

See what I mean?

Think of all the damn talented point guards and 2 guards

And the there's Steph.

3 , point guards in the last 30-40 years had a team built around them and won championships

Magic

Thomas

Curry

Now ppl who rush to hate on Steph will say I'm comparing the players I'm not.

I'm just stating a verifiable fact

I think Steph response to the hate and scrutiny and criticism this season added z whole other chapter to his legend

Which was already certified

He really earned that baby faced assassin moniker.

Cause i aint NEVER cheered that shimmy like that EVER

Now i wait for it and expect it

But now like i used to say about Lebron...

Can we please apply the same microscope to this so called superstar max contract dudes?

Can we PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE?

I want Luka, kawai, PG, Beal, Russ, Luka, Prozingas, and all the rest to feel that HEAT from the SPOTLIGHT.

Cause we seen who love it and thrive in it.

Yes Golden State has racist ownership, did you forget what happened to Lowry that fast?

If LeBron and Curry are on the same side why is he ALWAYS the go to when Curry is criticized? How does he get mentioned after a supposed "rivalry" game between Luka and Steph?

The scrutiny isnt based on money, its based on lineage. LeBron James represents a Black American family and transgenerational black wealth as he is the wealthiest NBA player and has his own sports agency. All the other superstars will always be promoted to be his rival but never each others and never use their brand or legacy to slight a white person EVER.

Chris was only there 2 years, 3 at the most. That's still 5 to 6 years where it was The James Harden Unguardable Tour.

The anti Shaq/Barkley

The game is at another level.
I want you to get on a court, sprint corner to corner, stop on a dime and shoot a 3. I want you to do 10 of those. Then I want you to focus on how tired you are. Because these players do that for 48 minutes. I don’t think guys from 20 years ago could play in this game. Twenty years ago, guys used their hands to control players. Now you can’t use your hands. That makes defense damn near impossible. Can you imagine not hand-checking Michael Jordan? Naw. The fact that you can’t touch players gives the offensive player so much flexibility. Defensive players have to take angles away and stuff like that. But if you have any creativity and ambition, you can be a great offensive player in this league. The fadeaways, one-leg runners, the one-leg balance shots — that’s stuff that Dirk Nowitzki brought to our game. And now when I watch Joker6 play, it feels like he has taken that Dirkness and mixed it with his own talent. And Steph Curry revolutionized things with being able to shoot it from distance with such consistency. Klay Thompson. Dame Lillard. These guards changed the game. I don’t know if even the guards from 20 or 30 years ago could play in this time right here. It’s creative. It’s competitive. It’s saucy. You’ll get dropped! A [expletive] will cross you over and break your A.C.L. these days. The game is in a great place.

They need to bring Area 21 back

He seems the opposite of Lonzo

Lonzo seems like he has no confidence, and Lamelo has all the confidence in the world

Not sure if I mentioned or here but the big difference between Melo and his other brothers is mentality.

Lamelo doesn’t give a fuck and he was brought up that way, he had to be. Melo was forced to play with players 4-10 years older than him so he was expected and pushed to just go on the court and play.

He’s used to being the youngest, he used to be the smallest so he had to adapt. He’s used to being the smallest, and not being able to shoot over people he was forced to be a pure point guard to get everyone involved. Now that he’s 6’7 or 6’8, with his mentality and skillset he’s a problem.

I think Lavar had the opposite effect on them also

Because Lonzo from UCLA was a different player. He was aggressive, this one is passive and looks like he doubts himself. I'm shocked when he shoots an outside shot without hesitating.

Lamelo seems like he's used to the bullshit and the worst trash talking and criticism he's going to get is from Lavar

You’re right, in High School and at UCLA Lonzo was very aggressive and the man!

In the NBA fans and players supported him, but he lost confidence early. He was constantly critique and was scared to make mistakes and it showed. Especially playing with Lebron, he felt that if he fucked up he was getting benched.

Not to mention feeling like the Lakers gave up on him when he got traded. Yes it was for AD but I’m guessing that’s the way he felt. Ingrahm didn’t feel that way, he’s happy to be from under Bron’s shadow and it shows.

Zo’s got the low free throw percentage, scared to take the ball to the basket because he’ll most likely miss. And what’s strange is he’s the most athletic of all the brothers!

Melo’s just not intimidated because he had to play against older and more talented players from the start and he still succeeded.

He also told us that Zo was better than Steph before Zo was drafted.

That was selling a dream to them folks and they bought it but he knows his sons. He knows as you mentioned Melo didn't give a fuck when he got on that court. When he was pulling from half court as a sophomore, he knew.

I don't think he handled the pressure

I wonder if going to a team other than the Lakers would have been better for him. Not New York either.

I don’t think that he handled the pressure well either. I think playing with Lebron had a negative effect because when he messed up, he felt it.

I’m definitely glad that he didn’t go to the Nicks!

Rockets v Spurs game last night had some action in the stands!

And buddy in the grey sweater to the camera ate 2 shots and didn't flinch... granite jaw

How do you have numbers and this ends up being the result?

Dudes not even reacting to being hit

Watching their man get fucked up
