Not a single update from this thread. @HNIC may need to look into this. I have alerts in other threads where this is also happening.

Aside from that, am up on FCEL and CLII. Debating on cashing in 40% or 20% and placing at minimum at 5% or 10% trailing stop loss. Want to bank and hold, but debating on %s and strategy. Any tips are appreciated.

Already took my small gains on STSA and it's still creeping upwards. May have sold too early.

Any thoughts on a NOK rebound? I considered it for a long term hold.

So what happens to Luckin Coffee Inc - ADR OTCMKTS: LKNCY now that they have filed for Chapter 15 bankruptcy? Will their shares be worth zero eventually? Should I sell now and the hell out now while I still can.

Hard to say. But if you're just starting out and looking for a base level fund with steady growth over that long a period of time.. You can't go wrong with something like:

VTI or
VOO or
SPYG or
VUG or
VXUS

If you want a little more risk but more potential growth, take a look at:

QCLN
ARKK
ARKW
ARKF
ARKG

I personally have this mix:

ARKK/ QCLN/ VGSX/ SPYG in Fund 1

ARKW / VT in Fund 2

ARKF/ VUG/ VXUS in my IRA

...and plan on holding for years. Sometimes fewer is better, as you can make more focused deposits on 1 or 2 quality funds.
Appreciate u

I've been looking at a clean/green energy etf, care to explain why u chose QCLN over ICLN?

Been thinking bout ARKW

If you look at the holdings, its a good one. Def loaded with growing companies. It's been on a run lately too.

I've only been holding the ARK funds for about a year, making monthly deposits, but they've all grown the money proper. No complaints.

However, keep in mind that the dividend game is a different strategy. They are awesome for retirement income. You just need to build up over time. Plus, with dividends, in most cases, your dividend is not dependent upon the price of the stock, but on how much stock you own. The payout is generally consistent unless the company is doing badly. And if that is the case, you chose the wrong company.
this isnt my first time buying OCGN. i actually bought it Tuesday.....sold yesterday. back in today.
in December, it went from $0.29 to almost $3 in 2 days. made quite a bit off that play.
got in at 4.14. 500 shares

It’s paying

That's actually what I'm looking to do, make two make monthly deposits over the next 20 years ( God Willing ) and see where it takes me...

QCLN tracks the NASDAQ® Clean Edge® Green Energy Index
ICLN tracks the S&P Global Clean Energy Index

They both include companies like Enphase, Sunrun and PLUG...but I liked QCLN more because that index includes EV companies like Tesla, Nio and Workhorse and ICLN doesn't.

There are a few heads that got in on QCLN before me so they may be able to add some feedback as well..

$TAN is also good, I passed on it in April 2020 due to uncertainty with the election.

That's what's up. If you like what you see jump on it and stick to the plan. If the fundamentals or situation changes you can always pivot and roll your ish into a different fund. Just try to hold for at least a year (which is what you're doing anyway).

OCGN up a buck and a half in 45 mins.....testing $5
easy money
Can you give me a quick understanding of how to read the order book, I see green and reds bids and asks. Which should I pay most attention to to see if the stock will go up?

I just checked: I made my first deposit in ARKK, $78 on Aug 3. I been doing $50 here, $75 there about once a month to this point:

[ Ticker / Shares / Av. Cost / Cost Basis / Maintenance (?) / Unrealized Gain / Value ]

..but I think ARKW would follow the same trajectory as far as growing your money with regular deposits

how'z everybody doing on this fine friday afternoon? hope yall have a great weekend and for those of you who have made money, enjoy some of that shit this weekend. for those yet to make money, keep doing your research over the weekend for what to invest in next week. i'm about to go blow on some kush and sip on some mamajuana i have been brewing for a few weeks. the wifey better get prepared tonight. i ain't trying to hear no "excusays"

Out of the ark etfs I'm currently in ARKG, ARKQ and ARKF, thinking about selling out of ARKF tho as it's been the slowest moving of the 5 ARKS

I have ARKF in my IRA. Since its the cheapest and huge on Fintech which I think will shine further down the road anyway, I plan on DCA'ing that literally for the next 15 years.

I bought 500 shares at $3.779 and I was up $1k.
I did this going against all my rules, I don't even have an exit plan.

Good call!
This is me all day. I saw the call out and didn't enter. Props to all that had the balls.

The MACD line signals upward momentum when in positive territory, and downward momentum when negative. Use this to validate an observed trend in price. The MACD line can signal overbought and oversold positions. The further the line deviates away from zero, the more likely it is we will see a correction in price. A bullish centerline crossover occurs when the MACD moves above the zero line into positive territory.
Now....remember me talkin about the MACD bout to cross after 3 days of consolidation???
https://chartink.com/screener/macd-cross-3-days <===that shit might throw you off, but it makes complete sense to me.
thats how i knew that shit was bout to breakout, so i hurried up and secured my position.
