People have lost nearly half their earnings over night while they slept.

I feel so bad for those who got into these meme stocks late and are left holding the bag.
The thing is, and this is where me and @Coldchi didn't see eye to eye, the signs where there. I said in this very thread at least 3 times, "get out now!!!!" Cats were blowing me off like I'm new to this.

I am consistent with my position that you take your profits and reinvest 10%. People held on to their positions, in which they had every opportunity to sell, and played right into the hedge funds hands.

I even suggested/ advised bgol on getting AMC and GME put option contracts last week, some dudes said that was a bad play. Now, when the market opens at 9:30am, my calculated play will yield an entire year's salary.

I say all that to say, guys you have to be smart and not greedy. Make money, get out, reset, make another play.

If you can grab a put or two, do it and sell it back today or tomorrow. If you can't get your contract early, be cautious of buying one at all.

Great advice! Being greedy will kill you in the market. Especially with options and with stocks like $AMC/$GME. The IV and time factor will destroy you if you're on the wrong side of the trade. Plus it doesn't help when the whole system is doing all in its power to go against those plays.

I jus
yep i'm siting right next to one right here at work....told him not to buy that damn amc a few days ago....

now he might as well hold on to it..
I just sold AMC but I placed an put option on it so earned extra. Thinking about placing puts on gme. Anyone else in?

@Coldchi @tical help a Bro out, those puts are high. Can I place an iron condor, jade lizard or one of those funky option spreads on that MOFO? For the BGOL FAM!!!

I will admit. I'm nervous about placing puts due to rebound repercussions
I hear you, but the thing is, the price increase on AMC & GME was artificial. These companies are not doing well since before the pandemic. I made a post about their performance. Unless people keep buying the stock at increasingly higher values, the price increase can not be sustained.

We will be moving onto another stock to inflate.

The unfortunate thing about pump and dumps is somebody always get left holding the bag.

I know it's dropping but I'm not dropping 4000 on a gme put. I don't have my fancy options book and iv crush is a MOFO. Any plays in mind?

For those of you who never saw the movie Boiler Room, watch asap. What is taking place is what happened in the movie except it's not a firm, it's a message board. And instead of penny stocks, it's severely shorted stocks.

I am 100% positive that the Reddit mastermind behind pushing AMC and GME cashed out this past Friday.

I was in on AMC early not knowing what was going on with Reddit, about $6. Saw the hype with Reddit and was in for an average of $9. The last few days it was spiking pre open then dropping. Missed an opportunity to get out at $22 and finally got out yesterday at $17. Buy low, sell high and repeat. Just doubled back at $8. If it breaks $10 today I’m out.

I sold half of my position at $8 (kicking myself for being greedy) If it can break $10/11 today, I will make like a 35% return. I had my limit order about $1 too high yesterday so I missed that spike to $17 while I was out taking care of the snow.

It's fucked up! It would have been one thing if $AMC, $GME etc fell just because people lost interest. But that's not the case. This was a coordinated effort by hedge funds and your brokerage firm using their powers. I hope the lawsuits are massive!
No no no...this is what happens to meme stocks every time. Yes it was foul what they did but this was the end result either way...just sooner than I thought

When you manipulate the standing rules? That's a no! no! There are no rules against a "meme" stock. But there are rules against the coordination effort they did.

You and i will continue not to see much on anything!

Meme stocks are like the old pyramid schemes. Get in early, or don't get in at all. The only way I would have gotten into that stuff is if I knew it was about to run before it started to run. Other than that, "No way!"

There are a lot of smart people on this board. It would be great if we could focus our efforts. There's enough money in the markets to make all of us wealthy as fuck. That's why it's important to share information with each other. We could have saved some of you from yourselves. I scan for my own shit, because once everyone hears about a stock, its doomed.

They say stocks go up an escalator; but they go down through a window. People are going to experience that shit today. I feel sorry for those who bought into that hype late. Because at the end of the day, you're going to be holding garbage. Greed is a MoFo. :smh:
