You had a positive outcome with ivermectin so all anyone is saying is let's take the next step and do a study on a large group of people with controls in place so we know it is the ivermectin that is working and not some other variable.
The Lancet is a really well respected medical journal. They have a paper here on ivermectin:
The findings:
Among patients with non-severe COVID-19 and no risk factors for severe disease receiving a single 400 mcg/kg dose of ivermectin within 72 h of fever or cough onset there was no difference in the proportion of PCR positives. There was however a marked reduction of self-reported anosmia/hyposmia, a reduction of cough and a tendency to lower viral loads and lower IgG titers which warrants assessment in larger trials.
So they are saying they need more evidence to reach a conclusion but there is some evidence that it may be helpful.
Now, look and see what is in the pipeline for release in the next couple of months:

Clinical outcomes to evaluate will be ICU admission, need for mechanical ventilation, length of hospital stay, days in the ICU and mechanical ventilation, and finally, the incidence of adverse events related to the intervention. The estimated time to complete the study is approximately five months.
All anyone is saying is let the doctors do studies/trials to confirm or disprove if something works. You can search that clinical trials site and see all of the ivermectin studies that are ongoing or close to completion.

Exactly. All I am saying is let the process work. If you have an idea that something may be effective, there is a good chance that there is a trial planned or in process. If it is a cure or therapeutic, it will show in the studies/trials. You can't just use anecdotal in place of empirical. This was the main reason that there was such a rush to get states buying Hydroxychloroquine. They knew that the studies would show it to be no more effective than a placebo so they needed to get in front of that...
