enough to where it wont break me if i take a big hit......lol.
but nah......on stocks that are like $1......i would get 3k or 4k shares.
if $2.....then maybe 1k to 1,500
$5......500 - 700 shares. i take a profit maybe 90 - 95% of the time. even if its a small profit....i still take it. its better than a loss.
now there have been times where i'm like in 8 different stocks on 3 different trading platforms.....and trying to keep my eye on everything....plus do my day job at the same time. that shit aint for everybody....lol. i be scrambling and clickin til i damn near get carpel tunnel. the worst is when im bout to sell, and my computer freezes up or shuts down and does a fuckin windows update or some shit. i've taken a hit before when some shit like that happened.....or got stuck on a conf call and couldnt pay attention like i wanted to. its best to make one play at a time man......especially if you just starting out.
I am up until 3 am setting my sights on certain stocks. I woke up at 925 to look at my premarket activity. It look like I was not going to eat cat food today. One stock was up .70 and it look like I was going to make $600 just from that stock. I saw my 2 other plays were lined up just the way I liked and then I went about my morning. I usually check back in at 10 to see if I should order the steak and dick suck or the girlfriend package. I had to settle for cat food tonight. And I’m out of lotion. What a terrible day.

It has made a comeback. That's why it critical you buy/bought it on the dip! As an example, I bought an option call expiring next week 2/5 when it was like $10.

If you have shares that were above the currently price and you believe in the up side and you had the $$$. Then the dip was the opportunity to buy and average down on your share price.

Based on everything i've seen this should easily be $25 at worst by next week friday. Wouldn't surprise me if it get's there by end of day. The only reason it hasn't is the brokerage firms limiting the buy side.

THIS. If it dips you know the saying, go shopping! AMC (to me) is a long term. I don't know how they are going to do it but they will recover somewhat. I know the $5 i paid for the shares is worth dumping at plus 50%. But, that's not to say you can't take you profits now because of what's going on. I'm waiting on GME to average $500+ and I believe it will sometime soon, then I'll just say ok. Thanks for the money and run lol

they are fucked

My understanding is this has to do with them “loaning” you funds while waiting for you deposit to settle from your banks. Considering all the activities lately their internal funds have been in the low side.

think about it ! they laid that shit at his feet ! it was his for the taking as long a she kept his cards close!! they literally came to him & offered it on a platter and being a smart dude , he knew what was up ! :giggle: :money: !SoFi trending on appstore !

the tv anchors literally went searching for him to get his opinion and he gave them a lashing on live TV for the world to see, so now he can get his street cred as a rebel, say he'll donate his $500Million to bartsool for charity !! shit was the greatest layup ever !

I sold off my little account and RH. As soon as the money settles, Im out.
i believe u can do a transfer!

from Robinhood:
You can transfer stocks and cash to other brokerages through ACATS (Automated Customer Account Transfer Service) transfer. If you want to keep your Robinhood account, you can initiate a partial transfer. Otherwise, you can initiate a full transfer, and we'll close your account once the process is complete.

Looks like folks cashed out on AMC. So who really is controlling this reddit run?

I am getting out of AMC. I don't think it is going to hit $20 again. The more shares that are floating around the more diluted they become. I don't think enough RH users have switched platforms to combat the trade restrictions. I could be wrong but between Thursday and Friday, I think positions were covered for everything except GME.

You have to do what's best! But i think it easily hits $20! The only reason it hasn't already is becasue of all the nonsense with the brokerage.

I don't know when you bought the stock. Hopefully it wasn't too high. But remember you only lose money on stocks when you sell.

So if you're at a loss consider holding onto the stock as a long play and focus on other things.

I'm just researching the tickers.

But he went on to make like $100K, $150K and then $400K.
In case you're wondering how? This is the type of cat with $150k account and buys like 25,000 shares and price scalps withing seconds to a few minutes.

So buy that many shares for a stock that goes up even .50 cent results in thousands of dollars gain or loss on the other end.

My average cost/share is $6.25 so I certainly have some wiggle room.

I have seen a penny stock day trader, he invest $15k in an OTC stock and cash out with $1900 profit (which is a 20% move). He doesn't even care if he could have made more because he usually trade 6 to 8 stocks a day but he doesn't trade every day. This is why I tell ppl do not buy a stock until you have an exit plan. The problem is when you are building a small portfolio you want to maximize your gains and ride the waves to the top and that is where most ppl(include myself) will have problems.

Dude better cash out and stop being greedy.. cash out take care of ur fam and reinvest... the gme game with end badly

He's a damn fool! I'm not sure if we're getting the full story here but how do you not take out AT LEAST 50% of those gains? Personally, I would take out enough gains to leave me with a 30K account.
