It may be because I am a citizen with the right to vote as I choose. Just to be clear I can be Independent enough to get the right candidate in later.

But I would bet most successful black celebrities (women too) vote republican. Ever notice how few ever speak about politics. So for a black man making 20 mil a movie this doesn't surprise me.

Our genes have been programmed and he has not been around a lot of the result of what is really going on. There are some decent people in everything. But they are there to be decoration of what is really going on. Congressman Ryan was a congressman that intentions were good. But he finally started waking up when it was too late.
Christianity is the same way a lot of the people in it are really sincere. They just do not know who and what they are really controlled by. It is true that there is no way that a righteous person can be successful in a wicked world. But it is also true that a wicked person cannot be successful in a righteous. The world will never changed unless blacks totally separate from whites and get our true identity and our true history back. I had attempted to have a convo with my dad about the benefits of children growing up in a functional two family home...I won't bore you with his response...the dude is still in denial and isn't capable of owning the fact that he chose to take the easy way out, maybe he's bitter that I'm a far better father he was because of the poor example he was. Actions do speak louder than words. That was why they killed Jesus. Agreed. In this country, we are FREE to make our opinions heard. You may not be acknowledged or you may experience a rebuttal but that is part of that freedom. Honestly, I think more people are actually more centrist on a lot of issues. I'm conservative on some issues but I'm also liberal on a lot of things. I also think that there are some things that everyone agrees of regardless of party lines. For example, needless violence against ANYONE is uncalled for. Just my 2 cents.

Black men should have conservative values. Being fiscally responsible, protecting your family, having conviction and not be about the fuck shit. People twist being conservative with being Republican. In interviews, Denzel has always been super careful with his words. I get an impression that he doesn't really trust many interviewers and is very much aware of how his words can be used against him. We've seen numerous interviews where white interviewers try to get Brothas and Sistas caught up. Denzel's not going for the okey doke. He's private with his beliefs, vague with the interviewers on purpose.
