 It's censorship AOC. Funny how that works, huh? Selective censorship is ok until it's not ok. Frontrunning ass politicians ain't shit.

This entire shit started because of reddit bros doing shit on social media. Now that is censored for 'hate speech'. AOC wants a political group to monitor the Internet for censorship purposes. Her squad member is sticking her nose in crypto/stablecoins and wanting financial censorship and control.

All these fucks getting exposed for hypocrisy. Love it. You can't want to run people off the Internet and then want to reap the rewards from those same cacs when they pull shit on wall street.

She's wants an investigation on behalf of the retail investors, the users of the Robinhood app, not against them.

I get that. I agree with that. Just saying. A few weeks ago, folks were for private companies being able to censor/restrict users. What happened to that argument? Some of those pro-censorship people probably are retail investors on Robinhood. Now they see how stupid cosigning censorship really is. So much for the :D "build your own" shit. See how quickly people don't take that stance when money is involved.

This is financial censorship from a private entity. Before it was communication censorship from a private entity. I'm consistent with my stance against censorship.

Well a private company has TERMS OF SERVICE where if you violate or abuse their service they have the right to ban you. regular people get banned off social media all the time and most of them aren't responsible for ginning up riots and attacks on the federal government.

Exactly. So you agree it's within the rights of the private company robinhood to suspend trading, correct?

a Leader/President's or politicians access & ability to cause a massacre thru disinformation i way different from a private company stiffing ist customers in the stock market ! its why they cant publicly get involved with inside trading , even tho in a "private" entity u can do that for family & friends , govt entity , private company using legally binding public money ! huge difference

Come on fam. A massacre? We don't have to be overdramatic with the situation. That shit was the same shit been going on in 2020, just at D.C. Those cacs got more guns than we had in the 90s while all those bodies were dropping, but they didn't fire shots and leave a mess of bodies? Crazy cacs were just taking selfies. MSM love hyping up shit.

I'm glad you said 'massacre' because it seems like MSM and politicians just love selective pearl clutching.

I just find it funny man. You and I both know these senators and representatives know about wall street. Now they pearl clutching. FOH. They stay putting bankers in charge of SEC and and finance. Ever notice how finance policies seem to float through with bipartisan support? Why does robinhood feel comfortable doing this two days in a row? Because Biden, Yellen, Congress ain't about to do shit but put on another dog and pony show. Trump, Mnuchin, and Mitch wouldn't do shit either. Bankers/wall street own these fake fucks.

The point still stands that this started on the Internet they want to censor so much. Shit like wallstreetbets wouldn't even exist if AOC had her way. Some folks are against open communication online. Guess what? That plays right into the bankers interest.

You're into crypto and know the vibe in the crypto space is that the previous censorship and this wallstreet shit is all about selective censorship. It shows why we need decentralized social media AND finance. And most the crypto guys hate Trump and ain't GOP. Folks just pro freedom and anti-bullsht.

few things :
1 ;when was the last time BLM or BlackPanthers broke into the capitol becos their feelings got hurt and who made it so easy and what made it so viable ?
2: all politicians that have access use it ,its not a left or right eing things! all politicians r dirty!
3: regulations are what make a society & hence a govt work ,its called safeguard, now do we need it in every area of our lives ? NO!

1. See. I wasn't even talking about BLM. I was referring to all the anti-mask and anti-lockdown protests. Shit been going on the entire year. Cacs been up in capital buildings throughout the country. In some cases, walking in with AKs. Crickets from D.C. Because it wasn't THEIR building.
2. Yeah, they all on the wallstreet take. Fuck'em.
3. I understand regulations, but we've seen them SELECTIVELY applied. It's SELECTIVE censorship that is the issue. Both communication and financial. I'm a regulation minimalist. I'm not arguing for anarchy. We see in crypto that even in the wild, wild west we can take care of ourselves. Game is the game. But it sucks when rules are selectively enforced.

If you notice, my position is the same no matter who says shit or does the shit. I don't hop around. Even if I don't like the person or like what's being done, I understand I have to take the good with the bad if I'm pro-freedom.
