NBA Season is Returning This Year!!!!!!!

I always narrow it to that because that's when people believe the warriors started making the playoffs
He's carried them before that before he was the MVP this was when people started paying attention to him and taking him seriously
He'd taken them to the playoffs without some of the major pieces that came when Kerr showed up
That's why I never judged Mark Jackson the Kerr curve he didn't have those pieces to make the team better but he STILL made the playoffs on Curry's play which is why people were upset he was fired in the first place.

Steph’s Warriors had a losing season 3 out of his first four years. Not his fault, it wasn’t truly his team and the Warriors were bad. Steph also dealt with bad ankle injuries his first couple of years.

Klay showed up 2 years later to go through one of those losing seasons.

Steph’s 4th year they made the playoffs and lost in the conference semifinals. That year was 2012-2013 and they had Steph, Klay and Draymond. That was also Mark Jackson’s 2nd year where they went 47-35.

The next year 2013-2014 the Warriors went 51-31 and lost in the first round. Mark Jackson had shit to say about gay people and the owners said that he had to go! :roflmao:

The next year Kerr came to coach and they won the championship. The “Big 3” were in place, a few additions were made but the coaching was different.

I say all that to say, Steph and the Warriors didn’t make the playoffs without Klay and Draymond. Steph wasn’t putting bums on his back making the playoffs, all those muthafucka’s were there!

^^^^

I still hear folk mad about the shimmy and celebrations

Just out of curiosity

Was he doing all that at Davidson?

I like the shimmy and the celebrations, it shows that they’d having fun!

I do know one person that doesn’t like it though...

Where did I say he was putting bums on his back?
All of the people weren't there, what helped them after the core was the key bench players which is why I didn't judge Jackson on Kerr's curve and have said that from Jump that's not revisionist.

I've simply said what was true he led teams to the playoffs before the mvp season which is where people act like his career began
Klay was not KLAY he's grown INCREDIBLY and took MAJOR LEAPS after those 3 playoff appearances
Draymond as well they all followed behind Curry which is what carrying a team is.

You can't be serious?

Wtf you think?

I don't care if you on my team or not

We grown men

Wrong is wrong

Also abandoning the knicks is much more reasonable act that i completely understand and sympathize with on a variety of different levels

Preserving our mental health is important

Now Playa.. there was a whole 4 page thread on Rose skipping out and at no moment did you criticize that man. Not once..

But let Kyrie do anything and you one of the first to criticize. Focus on your squad fam.. Y'all playing well so far, you should be happier

Ok cool, I can respect that. Before that MVP season Steph was good and rising but he wasn’t STEPH!

But you’re right, I feel what you’re saying.

My point is we already know what happens he did it before the MVP season people are acting like he was a rookie who won MVP and the ring and that's where it began lol
It's just that he didn't STAY there like his peers. He progressed instead of staying in the same place.

The thing with me though, teammates love Steph. You've never heard anyone say anything negative about him who played with him.

And the celebration shit, he celebrates just as much for his teammates. You'll see someone else make a three or shoot a three, and he has the same exact reaction. He'll pause, call their three, make the motion.

At the end of the day, it's a game, and you're supposed to be having fun. I don't think he's showing up his opponent, it's more about having fun.

You’re right, it’s a celebration and they all celebrate each other! Yesterday when Wiggins hit a 3 late Everyone was celebrating like it was damn near the game winning shot!

You can do nothing but respect the energy that they bring to the game.

It got Lebron in the seats to watch him in the NCCAA tournament

He took a team to the elite 8 with dudes who now own car dealerships lol
talking about carrying a team

I'm specifically talking about the celebrations that seem to be hurting these dudes feelings

I understand if he was a scrub doing it but he a future hall of famer doing it

The team plays better when it's having fun
Just because other teams like to be grouchy don't mean everybody gotta be
And you see it's actually taken over in major ways. Celebrations and joy into the game as opposed to treating it like a business.

Umm where did i DEFEND Rose though?

I saw that i actually posted articles ABOUT IT

If im not mistaken some thought Derrick might have had some type of emotional sh*t whatever

Still what he did is wrong then and still is.

I didn't know i had to make an official statement to the board

But i did contact hnic

So its ok.

Dude, I think it was Lee or Mulder shot a three. Steph paused and held up a three sign calling like he just knew it was going in.

I was like this muthafucka ain't going to make that shit.

Of course he didn't, and Steph look disappointed. I'm like this muthafucka ain't you.

But I think the whole team feeds off it, and they all get hot when Steph gets going.

But cuz...

You know he light skinned

It different

He ain't allowed to do that like that.

It's about him being lil bro
If Steph was 6'8 the entire conversation would be different
It's really because there are dudes out here Steph Curry size and could NEVER play basketball nearly as good
and that resonates on their keyboard
They can understand the traditional people and powers

I do it with all the "elite" players though. I still want to see Durant ball out when he has to carry the team every night deep in the playoffs and he knows no one can bail him out. Dude an all-time great.. damn near flawless came, but I want to see him get pushed. He wasn't pushed during those Finals MVPs.. that was easy money for him.

My teams are the Lions, Pistons, Tigers, and Wolverines. All my teams trash right now. You think you gonna take away me hating on winning teams and players celebrating :smh: my teams so trash that I'm close to hating on the Cleveland Browns.

Now we get it, you probably hate to see people outside of Michigan smile.

Whats wrong with Russ is he still injured or something?

Dude playing like trash this year.
Russ may get you a triple double but it'll be a super ineffective triple. 20 points but he'll take 18 shots to get it and have like 5 turnovers to boot. I'm not sure what Russ needs to change but he looks like he playing his way outta of the league with a style of play that's too ineffective to be sustainable.

Kinda reminds me of Josh Smith's last days in the league.

Never said defend, I said criticize the man...

It might be due to everything that went on in DC and Kenosha.

@chemist and @God-Of-War-420, I remembered the chuckles to my reasoning as to why Kyrie sat out.

Quote below:

One source close to Irving’s camp told The Association that Irving did not play because he is protesting against the riots at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday.

On a Zoom call with the media, Brooklyn swingman Caris LeVert also seemed to corroborate that the reason for Irving’s absence was related to him processing what’s going on in the world.

“That’s a personal issue for him,” LeVert said.
