Joe Biden is now POTUS

With the strife in the Senate, you actual think they could get it done in 14 days? Thats why it's not worth the headache. Just let SDNY (and now GA) deal with him.

i understand what you are saying. but if it can be done it is necessary.

Trump may be having his (and my) wish

Turnout Appears Low In Georgia On Election Day—Here’s What That Might Mean For The Senate Races

I'm a news reporter for Forbes, primarily covering the U.S. South.

Voting at essentially all polling places in Georgia has been taking at most a matter of minutes Tuesday, according to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R), as turnout appears to have declined for the critical U.S. Senate races compared to the presidential contest in November, a result that might not bode well for Republicans given that traditionally Democratic groups turned out in high numbers during early voting.

Wait times were averaging just one minute across the state, Raffensperger said Tuesday.

Georgia voting system manager Gabriel Sterling said that in-person voting on Tuesday appeared to be lower than the presidential election, telling the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that there were “no big long lines, no big issues” in the state.
MSNBC reported Tuesday morning that there was low Election Day turnout in Atlanta’s Fulton County, while the Savannah Morning News also reported low turnout in the eastern Georgia city.

Early voting turnout was strong in Georgia, with more than 3 million casting their ballots either through the mail or early in-person, according to georgiavotes.com, which tracks statistics from the state.
The demographics of the early vote seemed to skew toward traditionally Democratic groups, with nearly 44% of early voters being non-white, meaning Republicans are hoping to make up the ground by voters coming to the polls Tuesday.

Over 123,000 of the early voters also didn’t vote in the presidential election at all, with most of those voters being non-white and nearly 43% of those voters under the age of 40—a significantly higher share than voters as a whole.

Latino turnout appears to be the highest ever for a runoff in Georgia, according to NBC News.

“I have always said that after every election, half the people will be happy and half will be disappointed, but everyone should be confident in the reliability of the results,” Raffensperger said in a news release.

Raffensperger said there was just one reported voting issue, which took place in Columbia County near Augusta and was resolved before 10 a.m. According to Raffensperger, there were a small number of issues involving keys used to start paper ballot scanners and some poll worker cards that “were programmed incorrectly, meaning some poll workers were unable to start the touch screen voting machines used for paper-ballot voting.” President Donald Trump quickly latched onto the minor issues as a sign of potential fraud, while also tweeting further unsubstantiated claims around the vote counting without providing any evidence to back them up.

The results of the two Senate races will decide the future makeup of the Senate, and polls have suggested the races will be extremely close. So do betting odds, with an aggregation of odds giving Democrats a 50.0% chance of controlling the Senate as of 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, compared to a 49.9% chance for Republicans. Democrats will need both of their candidates, Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, to win for the party to control the Senate, which will only be possible since Vice President-elect Kamala Harris would serve as a tiebreaking vote since the chamber would be evenly split between 50 Republicans and 50 Democrats.

Around 988,000. That’s how many voted in Georgia on the presidential Election Day, Nov. 3. Final turnout numbers for Tuesday won’t be available until after polls close at 7 p.m.

These fuckers have gown crazy!!!

I don't think people fully appreciate what Trump has done. They've always wanted to be like this and Trump opened up pandora's box. Could you imagine if the GOP controlled both chambers right now? They'd done everything they could to keep Trump in power and would have destroyed the country, literally, to do it. This is a trial run.

We need to build up some fucking stock to prep for 2022.... Repubs got closer to retaking the House..... We are fighting to get just a 50-50 tie in the Senate..

We do this wrong.... Repubs are going to pull the same shit they pulled with Obamas first term..... .......... We need to continue to gain as many seats every two years as possible.....

Then once we get a Super Majority in the House & Senate..... Release the Kraken.

We need this Super majority to even attempt to change the electoral college.

the one thing that gets me about Trump is the amount of people willing to throw away their reputations and career for someone that would throw them under a bus in a split second

so many of them

The fact that she was a volunteer lets me know that as soon as her name dropped and people found at who she worked for..... that firm was probably getting that fucking WORK..... they probably forced her resign with the keep pensions and stock options bit.

There was a report either yesterday or today that her employers were stunned
to hear that she had been on that call, and that they were looking into it.

Her ass is fucked. As a partner, she made money. If she gets a job somewhere
else, she may have to work her way up the ladder again. Trump is not gonna
hire her in the Trump Organisation.
