There's no "trying" to explain. Once you've explained your position that's pretty much it.
However, let's be clear; all arguments don't carry equal weight. At least to me. Some are rooted in emotion/feelings/gut/whatever and others can be quantified and substantiated. My opinions tend to be more of the latter. As a matter of FACT my explanation could apply to every Tom, Dick and Harry currently employed. When they're ready for a change no one asks THEM to go to a shit city, shit company and work with shit employees. YET isn't that what you and others expect of KD? Add to the FACT that this generation of basketball player doesn't hate, dislike, whatever their competition (which is why I chuckle at that Jordan didn't join the Pistons analogy). If the opportunity presents itself they WILL play together. ALL of them.
So hey, opinions are opinions and you're entitled. I just command a little more convincing (which is not required) to buy into the narrative of it being a "weak" move. Any move that pays you what you worth, makes you better and give you EXACTLY what you want doesn't and won't ever meet the criteria of weak. Speaking as someone who knows more than a few CASH millionaires the basic conversation we have is how folks like yourself fall short. (Not an insult) You THINK there's a difference when the FACT is all things are relative. Their houses may be bigger but it's a home. Their cars may be nicer but it's just a car; and so on and so on...They situations that cause you angst cause them angst just in a different capacity thus the whole "it's relative" comment.
