NBA Season is Returning This Year!!!!!!!

He missed more than 2 weeks

and the team wasn’t ready yet, still had to see if he wanted to run with the pups OR game shark mod.

see we TRADED for Unibrow, he didn’t just join via fag agency.

gutted our whole team and took a gamble and won

I still haven’t seen curry in the playoffs

Chicago traded for AD? When?

Not getting into yall dispute but @largebillsonlyplease is pretty much a Kerr-hater.... especially when it comes to how he uses Curry... he's been talking about that shit FOREVER.

But am I wrong in that assessment? Lol
I don't hate Kerr. I hate that he doesn't do simple shit you don't need to be a genius if you winning
And he's letting the being a genius get in the way of winning. You finally started seeing it in the finals with the raptors like yo why tf doesn't he do this? This being run the offense with the ball in his hands lol.

Here we are in 2021 saying damn dude give it to him.

Doc got Tobais Harris ballin and being much more aggresive.

I've compared Kobe & Steph numerous times. You know I root for players rather than teams and moved from Kobe to Steph. They're the two most crazy but skilled and fearless shooters I have ever seen.

Steph Curry is the pound for pound greatest.

I disagree. Full disclosure: I'm a HUGE Steph fan, BUT he has to be hidden on defense, and that doesn't lend itself to being the greatest pound for pound. Not only would I take Magic over him, but I'd take the Orlando era Penny over him. Penny doesn't get the props he deserves, IMO.
Big players are at a huge disadvantage (pun intended) when the conversation shifts to pound for pound. You're not saying you'd take Magic and 6'7 Penny over him pound for pound, are you?

Magic and Penny were both before my time so I'm not weighing in on this debate... Valid point about Steph's defense, though-- I've often wondered where I place him among offensive threats in NBA history and I've seen too many bad nights from him to put him up there with someone like Kobe. Consistency is important. However, at his best, I think he's the best offensive player I've ever seen and I don't think it is particularly close.

2019 Results:
  1. Magic Johnson
    124 vote(s)
    99.2%
  2. Isiah Thomas
    98 vote(s)
    78.4%
  3. Oscar Robertson
    69 vote(s)
    55.2%
  4. John Stockton
    49 vote(s)
    39.2%

And just outside:

2014 results for five year context:
  1. Magic Johnson
    108 vote(s)
    96.4%
  2. Isiah Thomas
    84 vote(s)
    75.0%
  3. Oscar Robertson
    81 vote(s)
    72.3%
  4. John Stockton
    72 vote(s)
    64.3%
And a distant fifth:
  1. Jason Kidd
    35 vote(s)
    31.3%

Johnson, Thomas, Robertson, Stockton. BGOL's 2014 and 2019 Mount Rushmore's are the same, but Steph Curry was not even thought of as an option five years ago (with no complaints) and was just barely edged out by Stockton with just over two percent difference.

I think if this poll is done again in five years, Curry is knocking Stockton off of the mountain easily.

Max Kellerman:

Aside from Magic, "Steph's the best who ever did it. He's the greatest of all-time."

I have the game on but wasn’t really paying attention...

But how’s Boogie gonna elbow dude and then complained like he got fouled?
Nah that was cheap they was hacking the shit outta him and he was rightfully pissed at the non-call

The leash on that dude is unbelievably short... he look at a ref wrong and it's a tech... modern day Rasheed Wallace

I agree with about his leash being short, but on that play I didn’t see a foul on the defender.

Ok Maybe he slightly hand checked him as he started to drive but Cousins had the more blatant foul.

Man... :smh:

Shit like this is why Steph is catching heat the way he is

If that’s the reason then folks are dishonest. LeBron is at the top of the food chain. The best combination of physicality and IQ. The rest of those guys aren’t in his league. However, it’s hard to argue with the idea that to be a Curry in the league your skills has to be off the chart. I’d say Dame is in the category as well.

So.
Lebron is in that conversation so he can do what he wants and nobody better not say shit?? Lol

Cause after 5 games everyone said shit about a dude who won 2 nba MVPs and 3 rings saying if he don't do shit now his whole career means nothing and according to you he shouldn't defend himself or his legacy when ppl say that wild shit.

The argument has never been about who's the goat or who's better or who's anything. It's the cult like reaction to anyone who dare defends themselves and if you speak his name you get attacked.

That's so wild and weird.
Dame lillard felt he had enough of anything to talk about steph curry and where was this outrage???

It didn't exist.

Why can a dude who never beat Steph in the playoffs say shit?

And by never I don't mean series I mean game. Steph is 11-0 against him but can speak on him and his game and Everything else why?

It's wild corny what the basketball discussions have become

And I imagine it would have been the same if this medium existed during jordans time.
I just said that Jordan/Kareem fans could go in on Lebron for saying GOAT shit. Once a player opens up a can of worms, they better break out the fork and take the good with the bad. That's why most just say the right thing and keep it moving.

I missed what Lillard said about steph, but what applies to Lebron and Steph applies to Lillard. Lillard shouldn't compare himself to steph just like steph should never bring up Lebron.

SOME feel that Lebron shouln't say GOAT and he will rightfully take the heat when he says he is the best to ever lace them up. If he just says top 10, not so much heat, right? Think everyone who isn't in an asylum can say LBJ is top 10.

So there are levels to this shit talking. For better or worse, Lebron violated SOME when he says GOAT shit. Steph when he compares himself to Lebron. Lillard when he compares himself to Steph.

And I'm bias as fuck when it comes to LBJ, but even I know he himself shouldn't be saying that GOAT shit. Can you admit Steph shouldn't be saying 'what does that make him' to a cat who does nothing but carry teams to rings? Those are arguments for us fans.
