NBA Season is Returning This Year!!!!!!!

What's on this ring?

4-1 against who?

How the 6ers look tonight
Okay. I'll say this much right off the bat.......if Seth and Green don't play better in a hurry they gonna find their asses on the bench with reduced minutes for Maxey and Milton. Doc gotta tell Ben and Joe they can't be on the same side if one is in the post. Gotta rotate that and have one either at the foul line or on the other side. Need a shooter on that side. If Ben gives the entry pass, rotate to the other side while Joel backs him down. I did like how Doc used Joel in more screen and roll plays as well. Tobias pissed me off but I'm expecting that shit now. :smh:

It looks like Dallas changed rings to make them

Nice block!
I'm still uncertain about Zion's conditioning and he still looks a little overweight. Especially for someone the media wants to sell as the next Lebron.

Lebron’s conditioning is one of the reasons he's been able to consistently play at such a high level for this long. Zion looks like he's still holding on the a lot of baby fat.

I was being accused of being a Giannis hater a few days ago...

now look how they talking on here after ONE MISSED free throw

damn...

that was an awesome shot (luck or not)

and he a top 20 NBA player

I feel like we can at LEAST give that man after THOUSANDS of hours of practice?

a little more credit than just LUCK.

He hit a step-back fadeaway three off the backboard. The shot was so bad that it was good.

He can be the number one player on Earth, his plan wasn’t to shoot a shot off the backboard.

He definitely can get credit for his hard work, but everyone knows that wasn’t the plan. I’d rather hit that shot to win instead of missing it so he definitely gets credit for that!

It’s reminiscent of

And it’s no hate, it’s just when I see captions of “Great Shot” and “Oh My Lord”...

I’m looking like “Really”?

Kyrie Irving says he’s no longer focused on playing the hero after Nets’ season-opening win over Warriors

For Kyrie Irving, this season is the culmination of a career’s worth of growth and maturity.
In earlier stages in his career, Irving admits to playing hero ball, chasing individual accolades and statistics over team success. But after the Nets’125-99 season-opening win over the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, Irving conceded individual success is no longer a priority for him.

“It’s been a long journey to get here and to be able to master this craft and to learn that it’s not just about ‘hero’ basketball, it’s about how great the team is,” Irving told reporters on a conference call after the game. “I think I got caught up in that in my career a few times, just trying to play hero basketball, where the team success is really going to dictate how great you are as an individual and how great you play a role.

“As a young player, you think that scoring a bunch of points, doing a bunch of things, getting a bunch of accolades are great. I definitely was going after those things, and now, I really don’t care for any of those individual accolades or goals,” he explained further.

“It doesn’t bother me. I know I’m validated culturally. That’s all that matters. I don’t need all-NBA, I don’t need the MVP. I just want the championship with a great team that I can look back in history and say, ‘We did it our way, and we had fun doing it.’”

The Nets certainly had fun in their all-out barrage against the Warriors, and Irving led the attack. He was indeed a superhero in Brooklyn, leading the game with 26 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field, including a three-pointer from just inside the halfcourt line to give Brooklyn a 63-45 lead entering the half.

“I’m in year 10. All I want to do is enjoy every single day playing basketball and coming in to work,” Irving said. “Other than that, I’m living my life with my family, and that’s the most important thing to me.”

The Nets’ offense is loaded with playmakers, but improving the defense has been a priority. The Brooklyn defense held the Warriors’ leading scorers to a combined 14-of-51 from the field. That’s 27% combined shooting for Stephen Curry (20 points on 21 shots), Andrew Wiggins (4-of-16) and Kelly Oubre Jr. (3-of-14).

“We’ve been emphasizing the defensive side of the basketball all training camp and to come out and have them shoot 37 percent from the field, 30 percent from the 3 that’s a good start,” Kevin Durant said postgame. “So we want to build on it. I was looking forward to coming out here and getting a W and I was glad we were able to come out and finish the job.”
EMPTY THE BENCH
Nets head coach Steve Nash said he wanted to play 10 players against the Warriors, but once the game was out of control, there was no sense keeping the starters and key role players on the floor.

The game was out of Golden State’s grasp once the Nets hung 40 on the Warriors in the first quarter, but it was truly over at the 3:02 mark in the third quarter when Nash sent Durant and Irving to the bench with a 33-point lead.

Nets rookie Reggie Perry recorded his first regular-season minutes and scored his first points that will count this season.
Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot came off the bench late, but is a strong candidate for the 11th man spot on the roster.
A rare Rodions Kurucs sighting: The third-year forward made an appearance in garbage time, flaring to the corner to splash a contested corner three with just under two minutes to go in the fourth quarter. Bruce Brown also played eight minutes and Tyler Johnson played six.

Ummm I haven’t seen anything from Harden about asking about a trade, everything is media leaks etc...

but any trade has to be made through the league office

So even all these exploratory calls, the league gonna know and its already been confirmed Harden wants out since he saying WHERE he wants to go.

The closest thing I've heard him say was, when asked about it he said something along the lines of "nobody here has had anything to say about my rumors." The next closest thing was his mom/agent going off on that fan.

Other than that he's said nothing

Exactly! The media’s makeup jig Harden out to be the bad guy. The stripping stuff was bad, be “We” haven’t heard anything from Harden regarding a trade. So for Silver to insinuate that is insulting.

Harden showed up a couple of days late to camp...

It happens, other than that he’s been to practice and we haven’t heard anything about a trade from him.

And I think Adam Silver is more concerned with the precedent being set.

Can't stress this enough, Harden has 3 years left on his contract. Plus, he's been on teams that have had a good amount of success. It's not like with AD where they had shit teams around him and he would barely, if ever make the playoffs. Harden has been in the playoffs every year in a Rocket uniform. And Houston isn't a small market.

I think this is way of throwing that subliminal... it's not as bad as you think and I'm not going to just let you force a trade because you're unhappy.

Just because he hadn't come out and said it doesn't mean it hasn't been said... his mom opening her mouth was probably the biggest indication that this rumor has some legs to it.

Where there's smoke...

All I’m saying is Silver stated that guys have contact and he hoped they could keep disputes behind closed doors.

I haven’t heard Harden say anything so who’s leaking the info?
