The crazy thing is that Harden finally has 2 legit big men (Wood & Cousins) who can punish cats inside and stretch the floor by shooting 3s. Morey tried to get a quality stretch 4 or 5 big men his whole time with the Rockets and was unsuccessful.

Harden really need to think hard about leaving because this team is built for him now more than ever. The lanes will open up because bigs will have to guard our bigs on the perimeter. Wall & Harden would feast with this lineup.
 
I dont understand Houston vision, Are they trying to put together a team to compete in the West. Or are they burning it all down and collecting assets for that Bron James Jr draft class. By selecting Bronny, Lebron will sign along to play with his son. Couple that with a Ben Simmons/ John Wall and few pieces here and there.

What is Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson going to do for you. As a Sixers fan I dont want to trade Simmons? but if I am being Honest. Harden is a better more polished offensive version of Allen Iverson. Both can score and get steals, If you were a fan of those late 90 early 00s Sixers team.
Imagine if AI had a great second or a real Big Man to play the game.
Now look at how the Sixers would be constructed

Great Head Coach
Harden & Embiid ( 1-2 punch Pick and Roll you to death)
Tobias Harris/ Thybulle Nice/Terrance Ferguson Nice - Role Players
Seth Curry/Danny Green/Korkmaz (Shooters)

Bench:
Dwight Howard (Will keep pushing Embiid in practice, keep him in shape and the defense doesn't skip a beat when substitutions are made)
Shake Milton (His name doesnt scare anyone but his game is improving
Mike Scott/Justin Anderson are the team (Goons) to fuck with KD/ Lebron/ Jimmy Butler/ Giannis etc.

The Rookie (Maxey) has swag and looks like he can score.

Plus if you peep the clip Harden was right next to Wood, even bumps him as he rebounds the basketball, but Wood kept it and went coast to coast... so IN THAT INSTANCE, James Harden wasn't needed to bring the ball up, initiate the offense, etc.

I'm sure y'all know that but it still is a very not good sound bite
