Damn I have not been back to the gym since March. Before this pandemic hit I was hitting the gym at least four times a week for the last 4 years. So how have you guys who love going to the gym handle your workouts? If you do still work out at the gym, how safe do you feel about working out there?

I just got back to the gym. How I was handling not going to gym was getting fat. When I got tired of that I starting running outside(which I hate) then I said fuck it and signed up for Gold's. Working out is part of staying healthy so I'll risk it. You're supposed to wear a mask when moving around from equipment to equipment, but of course when you're heavying breathing after a set, most people just pull the shit down to their chin. I'm not buying a bunch of home gym equipment cause I ain't got no space for that shit.

That’s if u can find any

i miss looking at the woman, but other than that, i'm good. been purchasing equipment since April/May and got enough to get in the workouts i need. Hoping to get a lat machine fro christmas. Just moved all my equipment to the garage, painted, epoxy on the floor...i'm good.

I stopped in March also and my body is telling me it time to get back in the gym. I'm getting back in the gym soon.

Working out at home, but I dont have the same intensity I would normally have with the threat of someone laughing at me if I fucked up.

I just went back about month now, nothing serious just cardio and abs.
It’s no where close to the same amount of people. the last time I was in there probably was January

been back since June when they opened back up :dunno:

I didn't feel back to "normal" in the gym until around September. That three months was pretty rough.

Some people can work out at home, I'm not one.

and I probably caught Covid there, half of those nasty ass military colonizers don't even wash their hands after using the bathroom. It is what it is. :dunno:

I believe if you keep your mask on, keep your hands clean and away from your face, you should be OK. But I would not reuse that mask. An minimize your contact with people.

Bring a towel and drape it over as much of equipment as possible. I wear workout gloves the entire time so I don't touch too much. Other than that, not much else has changed w/ my workouts.

Man, my kettle-bells just came from Amazon. Them motherfuckers are heavy. I got a pair of 40lbs. A few years ago I was able to get 6 reps in the sitted dumbbell press with 80 pounders, now I'm struggling with literally half the weight. I went with 40's because they use them in the new Army PT test.

Getting old sucks!
