I'm trying to arrange a trip next summer (with hopes of an improved Covid situation) for a lady from Antananarivo, Madagascar to Belize City with a 19 hour stop in Atlanta. So I find that in order for her to even pass through a US airport she must have a non immigrant transit visa. My ex is from the UK and I don't remember any class C visa. She's been all the fuck over the US. So I did some checking. Even if the USA is not your destination, just to change planes in the US you'll need that visa IF you're not from a list of NON MELANATED countries! These assholes just live in perpetual fear of darker skinned people! And I found that the visa for her has at least a 50% chance of being denied, still at a cost of $160 that I'm just gonna find a different and more expensive route that avoids the US altogether.
Below are the countries whose citizens can pass through the US without bullshit............
Must Be a Citizen or National of a VWP Designated Country*
You must be a citizen or national of the following countries* to be eligible to travel to the United States under the VWP.
