The Freak is just on some goofy shit...

Players been working out with each other for decades....

LeBron was a Sophomore in high school (16) playing pickup games with Ron Artest and MJ...

There was one player who said he wanted to workout with other players to see what moves they’d do when in battle in the playoffs.

I forgot that guys name.

Dwight should be there, they knew Rondo was gone. Last what he got 2.6, this year he got 7. He was gonna go for the money

Dwight should've stayed, The adversity will be greater In Philly. Also I don't see a team leader over there to keep him grounded. Rondo was huge for LA they paid Morris but not Rondo?

Rondo got 7 mill, Morris got 2.1-6 mill...

After the season it was known Dwight & Rondo would go for the money.
That’s wasn’t on the Lakers. Dwight didn’t wait until the traded McGee. Seem like if he would’ve waited another two days he would be back in purple and gold.

The biggest question should be why Rondo pass up on another 2 million and went to the Hawks. Seem like the clippers could give close to 9.5 and he took 7.3

Lol lol that's funny. I like the Lakers move. Im not sure they are better team than last years though. I think rondo and Dwight was huge for them. Not that those adds aren't good. Just don't know if they will be big like those players played in the big moments....

Agreed but i just head from romana shelburne saying dwight was talking very loose in the media and lakers execs thought he was going back to the OLD dwight.

I'm wit it...

If Cousins head is on right that's a nice pickup
I don't think its about his head but its his body and if its able to keep up. Very solid move though and if Harden is straight the Rockets can make thing interesting out West. I still think they are limited as long as Harden AND Westbrook are the back court but they should at least battle with the other 4 teams out West IMO.

Damn non guaranteed,. Boogie might need to just hang it up Man I wish the Lakers would have signed him, as I want him to get a ring and hang it up.
He going to the Rockets. They gonna contend. And I don't think AD or Cousins want to relive that reunion.

Al horford kyrie now gordon heywood....

Hmmmmm.....
Lost all 3 and got nothing to show for it.

Danny Ainge really fucked that up. Real good. I won't fault him for Hayward because he had a freak injury soon as he stepped on the court....but they had a deal for Myles Turner and they fucked it up. Should've never traded for Kyrie...and should've never let Hortford go though Sixers did give him a crazy ass contract so I can get it.

Shake is good, he just has to put on a little muscle and work on his defense. It was hard to watch Tatum and Brown running switches to get Shake one on one. At one point they were just picking on him
Yup. That was a big advantage they were able to exploit without Simmons in the lineup. Say what you want about the Beige bitch not being able (or just unwilling) to shoot, and lord knows I've called that pussy out on it, he can successfully guard 1 through 5's with no help. Makes a HUGE difference

We might have to blame him for Hayward. They wanted Hayward to be the great white hope, they even forever him into games when the team performed better without him.

They did everything they could do to make him comfortable and to succeed. There’s something there that he didn’t like?

I agree and disagree...

It's a solid, no risk move on behalf of the Rockets brass... that i agree with... and it will be crazy interesting if not for the fact that between him and Westbrook the technicals should be JAILblazer reminiscent...

but Harden and Westbrook in the back court could have worked fine in the sense that if you doubled one of them the other should have went off... Westbrook should have been SUPER aggressive in attacking the basket, especially after they traded Capella away... and Harden completely gave up on his mid range jumper and attacking the basket as well... he should have been shooting 20 free throws a game or more... but instead they fell in love with the 3 and that stagnant ass d'antoni offense

I think Silas will fix a lot of that... and with cousins and wood both being able to attack the basket off the dribble, off the pick and roll, off a closing defender... you still have nobody clogging up the lane and they should still have plenty of opportunities to get to the rim and draw fouls

I dunno about Dwight...

By all accounts he wanted to stay with the Lakers from what I've read...

Yes he even tweeted that he's coming back then had to delete the tweet. I wanna know what really happened though. He was given a "deal concept". I don't get that. You either give him or offer or your don't. Gasol is better offensively but I think Dwight was perfect for what this team needed. Gave 100% on defense, high motor in limited minutes and didn't care about offense.

You think they as that delusional? That team was suppose to be built for Kyrie I thought? Then eventually hope Tatum can take over at some point.

I don't blame them for Hayward because to me you draft Tatum who came in balling, you traded for Kyrie...you drafted Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown....I get thinking you needed a jumper shooter in the mist of all that. I do blame them for not trading him for Myles Turner now though. You could've got something for him at least and they seem to want a center.

There's no reason to double Westbrook though. Just play him for the drive and you're good. Let him sit back and dial up jump shots. I don't know what type of offense Silas will implement there but hopefully its a more traditional offense...hell if its the offense the Mavs run that will be a improvement over what D'antoni was running out there.

I honestly don't think they fit well. But you know I forgot Cousins signed with the Lakers...he should fit well with Rockets if he can play still though.
He worked out with the coaching staff so I'm sure they ran him thru what they want to do offensively... they said the workout went well... and the thing is he can shoot from the perimeter... so still have wide open lanes to drive and kick

The greatest GM in NBA history, Danny Ainge let 3 max players walk in the last 2 years without getting anything in a sign & trade. He swindled Brooklyn but other than that what has he done?
