President-elect Joe Biden turns 78 today, and when he is sworn in as president in January, he will be the oldest person in US history to have the job.
He will beat, by eight years, the record set by President Trump when he was elected in 2016 at age 70.
Biden was among the youngest men ever elected to the Senate in 1972, and in his third bid for the presidency, his life story of overcoming personal tragedy met the moment of a nation in the grips of health and economic crises.
Vice-president elect Kamala Harris will also be making history when she takes office. She will become America's first female, first Black and first South Asian vice president.

it came across to me like they had some good ideas but didn't produce it well. it had a weird energy. like, Obama looked bored lol.

I thought you were talking about the questions/content. I didn't like the camera angle they used. You could tell Capehart was looking Obama in the eye, but it seemed like Obama was always looking down or away the whole time. If they had used the angles as used with Capehart, it would be evident he was at times looking down, but making eye contact as well.

"This appears to be a political move by Team Trump to limit what President-Elect Joe Biden can do next year to boost the economy, especially if Congress fails to pass a big stimulus,"

This and other moves are designed to make Biden look bad. He'll have to raise taxes, spend money, possibly send troops back to Iraq, etc.....
Trump wants to do things that make him look good in his final days and office and leave Biden with a real disaster. I don't doubt Trump will try to run again all just to sooth his busted ego.

This thread might not be the proper forum for this expression.....but....can we agree that given the sit down with Obama and having the MSNBC nod behind you with handpicked in studio cats.....this Jonathan Capehart interview is trash.......?
Can I please get a link to the interview you've referenced?

It’s just too many states and zero path for trump...

What I’m worried about is this electoral vote issue... each state is different ... my gut is telling me to expect more fuckery and this ending up as a constitutional nightmare with a small number of electors trying stupid and dangerously rogue shit.
This right here in my opinion is the biggest threat to the survival of The Republic, faithless electors. The GOP pushed through some state laws mandating allegiance because they feared some of their own would abandon tRump. Turns out it may work in Biden's favor where those laws were enacted, but there are still states where the electors aren't bound. They could throw this whole thing into pandemonium.
