Joe Biden is now POTUS

You know there has always been rhetoric thrown at candidates during election time and in debates about being unfit for the presidency. Well Trump has proved and continue to prove it was truly correct in his case.
The man is traitor to this country and should be brought up on treason charges. Who knows what this man is doing because he's a lil bitch.

The crazy thing about right-wing media is that this Lindsey Graham story never gets on their radar. I don't mean they it gets there and it's narrated in a different way. I mean their viewers will never even learn that this even happened because it will never get mentioned and they only read far-right media and then far right talk radio.

So much shit that happens never even gets to them.

I had a revelation today.

We are living a real life version of the Star Trek next generation episode First contact.

Summary: The humanoid race of Malcor III is preparing to develop warp drive technology. First contact reveals that there are elements in their society that prevents them from taking the next step.

Ultimately the planets leader Durken regretfully tells Picard that he feels Malcor is not ready for first contact. He fears his people are not mature enough to handle the startling announcement that they are not alone in the universe. He requests that the Enterprise leave the planet, in hopes that they may be able to return at a later time. He agrees to delay Malcor's development of warp drive technology until its people are ready. With Mirasta's project cancelled, she asks Picard if she can join his crew, and Picard agrees.

THIS is where merica is in the 21st gatdamn century?!?

We should have fucking flying cars and shit but we are catering to the fears and sensitivities of fucking white supremacist bullies who are soooo fucking weak they cant face the fucking truth and future that lies before them.

SO because these fucking idiots cant handle regular TV and fucking news media, they NEED their own false media to reaffirm their bullshit?!?

:hithead::curse::angry:

The good thing about Michigan is that the margin is so big that if
they have to recount, Biden wins again. Try as they might, there is
no way they can throw out the votes of Detroit. At best this is a
delaying tactic. If they are unable to certify the votes, they will have
to recount. The beauty of all of this is that the dispute is in one city
only. That is Detroit. They can recount all the votes in Detroit by
hand in 3 days.

The problem is not a recount, they are trying to throw out ENTIRE FUCKING PRECINCTS OF VOTES because they were 'out of balance' by one fucking vote.

I don't know if people aren't paying attention right now but since the Wayne County Canvessers didn't certify, this goes to the state board which I believe is GOP and then the State Legislature which is definitely GOP to select electors...by essentially throwing out ALL of Detroits votes which obviously would be the difference here in Trump winning Michigan.

Even if this doesn't impact the overall election, this is a HUGE electoral issue where we are seeing for the first time, entire county/cities getting their votes tossed for reasons that aren't any different than what had happened in previous elections through history.

Disenfranchising an entire city of voters, these gop traitors have no bottom.

This shit is scary. This would throw out the whole state not just Wayne County. It was said during another failed Trump case. Not certified. no electors can vote. We'll see if they have the balls to do it. Shit will burn over this.

But she referred to the judge in the Wayne County Circuit Court, who "made it very clear" that holding off on certification over claims that have not been found by any court to be substantiated could result in Michigan's exclusion from the Electoral College.

That would mean "Michigan would not be participating, and that has been called an unprecedented act of judicial activism by some of the most conservative judges in the state,
" Nessel said. She added, "It would mean that we couldn't even participate in that process and everyone — all 5.5 million voters in the state of Michigan — would be disenfranchised and wouldn't be included ... And that's why we don't do that."

Nessel was quoting Wayne County Circuit Chief Judge Timothy Kenny, who a few days ago denied a lawsuit for an independent audit of the county's votes because it could prevent the state from certifying its electors and "could disenfranchise Michigan voters from having their state electors participate in the Electoral College vote" on December 14, and could therefore "undermine faith in the Electoral System."

It is NOT going to happen

michigan has a population of 10 million.

tri county aka metro detroit (wayne, oakland, macomb) has a population of 3.9 million

wayne county has a population of 1.8 million

detroit has a population of 700k and falling fast.

No in that scenario it passes to the president pro tem of the senate Charles Grassley... Who we found out today has corona.

"In one scenario, the results of the presidential election would be unknown because no candidate received a majority of the vote in the Electoral College. In that case, the Twelfth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution holds that the House of Representatives elects the president, and the Senate elects the vice president.[1] If the House fails to elect a president by March 4, 2021, the Twelfth Amendment requires that the vice president assume the office of president.[2]

In a second scenario, the question of whether a candidate has won the Electoral College is taken up in the courts, and the issue remains unresolved past January 20. The presidential line of succession, established in 3 U.S. Code § 19, part of the Presidential Succession Act of 1947, lays out who would assume the role should there be a vacancy in the offices of both president and vice president.[3][4] The outcome depends on whether a new Congress has been sworn in by January 20.

If a new Congress has been sworn in, the next in line would be the speaker of the House of Representatives, currently Nancy Pelosi (D). If re-elected to both her seat and the speakership, she would serve as acting president until the election is decided. The Twentieth Amendment to the Constitution requires that each new Congress convene on January 3, unless the previous Congress passed a law that set a different date.[5]

If a new Congress has not been sworn in by January 20, there would be no serving House. There would be a partial Senate, however, made up of the 65 senators whose seats were not up for election. After the speaker of the House, the next in line to serve as president is the president pro tempore of the Senate. In a partial Senate, Democrats would hold a majority with 35 seats and control the chamber. The most senior member of the majority party—Sen. Pat Leahy (D-Vt.) in this scenario—would become president pro tem and serve as acting president.[6]

A third possibility is that a partial new Congress would be sworn in while the rest of the election results were being finalized. There is no precedent for this, and it is unclear how it would operate. Any of these situations would likely lead to court challenges.

The nearest the U.S. has ever come to being without a president on Inauguration Day was in 1876. In that year, several southern states had contested vote counts and sent multiple slates of electors. A special Electoral Commission set up by Congress decided the election three days before Inauguration Day.[7] In more recent history, the 2000 presidential race came down to disputed results in Florida. That case went to the Supreme Court, which issued their ruling on December 12."

They are better off leaving wishy-washy Biden to take over, because Nancy Pelosi
will not be so nice to them. It is either Joe or Nancy. It cannot be Trump, so they
are wasting their time.

The problem with that is that you'll need 38 state to agree to amend the constitution. Red states are going to five up their special power.
I agree.. but it will become a recurring theme in every election

I wonder which autocratic strongman would want nothing more than a chaotic election and transition of power. Definitely not the one who compromised the emails of all the Senators and Congressman running around like headless chickens as they try to compromise the election results.

I took a nap for a few hours and all of this shit started happening you know what people this is why they need to get rid of the electoral college Republicans are making this very very obvious. And the Wayne County Michigan bullshit is racism plain and simple.

There must be a way that this can be challenged in court
