Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on Tuesday said that President Donald Trump had himself to blame for losing the state’s electoral votes in the 2020 election.

Raffensperger told WSB’s Justin Gray that 24,000 Republicans who voted by absentee ballot in the primary did not cast votes in the general election.

The secretary of state linked the lack of participation to Trump’s effort to demonize mail-in voting.

“He would have won by 10 thousand votes — he actually suppressed, depressed his own voting base,” Raffensperger said.

Right there is one of the main reasons Trump is a terrible business man. He makes "cause" decisions which neglect to consider the "effect"

He picks up on a single word or phrase spoken by his people, when they're explaining what's in his way. He ignores everything else they
say and runs with that one word/phrase, shouting and demonizing it as often as humanly possible. In this case it was mail-in-voting/ballots.

This is the gist of the problem:
Having balanced precincts is particularly important in Michigan because precincts whose poll books don’t match with ballots can’t be recounted, according to state law.




Key is if the absentee count is off by 1...one ballot it can be declared out of balance and NONE OF THAT PRECINCT absentee ballots would be counted in the recount.

I don't know if people aren't paying attention right now but since the Wayne County Canvessers didn't certify, this goes to the state board which I believe is GOP and then the State Legislature which is definitely GOP to select electors...by essentially throwing out ALL of Detroits votes which obviously would be the difference here in Trump winning Michigan.

Even if this doesn't impact the overall election, this is a HUGE electoral issue where we are seeing for the first time, entire county/cities getting their votes tossed for reasons that aren't any different than what had happened in previous elections through history.
