Launch planned for 7:27pm ET with a 50-50 chance of going as scheduled .... next launch opportunity Wednesday Nov 17th

What we're covering here

What's happening: Four astronauts are scheduled to launch from Kennedy Space Center to the International Space Station Sunday at 7:27 pm ET.
Why this is important:
  • This is the first fully operational mission for a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule.
  • It will mark SpaceX's second astronaut launch overall. The first Crew Dragon to launch humans, which was still considered a test mission, took off in May.

And they wont reach the space station until TOMORROW 10:00 PM
surprised by that..
why so long? i'll google.

The launch, originally scheduled for Saturday, was delayed until Sunday because of the weather.

The crew capsule is set to dock at the space station Monday after a 27 1/2-hour flight.

Sunday’s launch is expected to usher in new and additional commercial opportunities in low-Earth orbit. There are movies to be shot, beauty products to be promoted and tourists to be welcomed to the space station.

Just read about it myself. The space station is only 250 or so miles up but the sumbitch is orbiting at 17,000 mph! They gotta GET IN FRONT OF IT then jump on that fucker like a merry-go-round.

Damn. Niceness!!!!!

I haven't been keeping up. I remember them doing test landings for the reusable rockets. Are the Russians doing anything similar? The US been using them for a while to get the ISS. Guess we won't need them any more.

From my backyard to BGOL
Would have been cool as hell if it was at daytime and you could see the rocket.... but still... from your backyard.... when the Martians attack.... ur house is going to be toast though.....

They never explained why a military was needed in outer space. Good thing some of us got telescopes. I do not. I do not have the money to buy a proper one. But we have no foundation to do proper investigation on them. They have done a good job of lying here on earth and using all the resources for to destroy. Now the animals are trying to dominate space. Every where whiteness is it seems everything else has to follow it. Not that it is right just that they kill.
