In any other state he would probably have to. None of the others are within the margin for a recount.
They are doing this one as an audit in GA. Georgia law doesn't specify who pays for it, but their SoS said taxpayers would be paying for it.

Now I don't believe all the troublemakers were Bernie Bros, some were bots and agents stirring up trouble, but there were enough to be an issue so that they got media attention AND *I* had run ins with them. I'm semi-sweet as pie on social media, so there is no way I should be a target. Bernie refused to properly address their conduct so he can go kick rocks also.
