It's been time for her to go and Perez who's head of the DNC needs to go as well. They spent all that money in those Senate races and didn't come close to winning in Maine, SC and Kentucky. :smh:
I don't know about the other candidates but Harrison raised a lot of money outside of the DNC.

Elect AOC and hold her to the same standard of forcing McConnell to do things he doesn’t want to that you hold Nancy to.

Pelosi is right to disagree but I wonder if that is substantive or just an unwillingness to hear the 2020 strategy critiqued.

She's good at handclaps and theatrics but what has she substantively accomplished?

I know, she helped pass Romneycare ten years ago. You got anything else?

So how many bills have passed in the house because of Nancy Pelosi and are right now sitting in the Senate because Mitch McConnell make sure that they don't come to a vote.

I'm going to be real honest a bunch of y'all in here either have no clue how government works or are just repeating stuff you've heard and don't really understand where the narrative is coming from.

I'm always real honest- I don't care about meaningless symbolic bills that they knew would not pass.

Y'all keep using McConnell as an excuse but Harry Reid was the Senate Majority Leader from 2007 to 2015- basically the entire Obama presidency- and Pelosi was House Speaker for four of those years. What do we have to show for it?

She wasn't on board with the bills that were letting companies off when it came to covid related liability and corporate giveaways, but even when she agreed to standalone stuff, they wouldn't do it.

It was just reported McConnell might be on board with a large stimulus before Jan, but if he is willing to do that, it's only because KY is hurting or donors are demanding it.
Naw, she got her card pulled when she agreed to do a stand alone for the airline and then wouldn't do a standalone for the direct payments that both sides at agreed on simply because she didn't want Donny boy's name on the checks. Later that day, someone had to tell her something good in private and she reversed position on the stand alone for airline.

And did you check the corporate giveaways from the CARES Act? Holy shit. I bet Mitch still wakes up laughing.

Receipts for this lame bitch there in real time. Like when she was parading around in February at the start of the pandemic telling people to go out and not to worry. Shall we go back to 2009 when folks wanted to go at Bush and she said :D "Let's Move on!"

We got receipts for fucking days on Pelosi. Mitch is another problem by himself, but with friends like Nancy, who the fuck needs enemies?

Dems lost control of the House in 2010 and the Senate in 2014.

As I said before nothing are symbolic bills. They're bills. They can't become laws until the Senate passes them.

You're talking but proving that you don't have a good grasp on how shit works.

Look, dipshit, the congress changes in January following the election. I said Harry Reid was the muthafuckin' Senate Majority Leader from 2007 to 2015 because he was-- his tenure ended after the 2014 election. Don't try to correct somebody who knows more than you, at least not condescendingly.

How many years was Pelosi House Leader with Democratic control of the Senate? Four, like I said. You wasted my time with this empty response contributing nothing new. Like I was asserting Democrats lost the senate in the 2015 election. What a schmuck response. :smh:

So again:

Y'all keep using McConnell as an excuse but Harry Reid was the Senate Majority Leader from 2007 to 2015- basically the entire Obama presidency- and Pelosi was House Speaker for four of those years. What do we have to show for it?

You can try to call me names and write in bold but it doesn't change anything. For the majority of the time you're talking about you either had a Republican president, then a divided legislative.

But anyway......

Are you a democrat?

Man, you and I have been having political exchanges for the entire year. That question is too stupid to dignify with a response, no disrespect intended. What are you really asking? You should know my politics by now unless you have amnesia or something.
I'm asking are you a democrat?

The point wasn't to change, it was to emphasize.

When the #3 item on your list is the "fair pay act" and Democrats are STILL campaigning on that same issue ten years later, that's a good indicator that your list is bullshit. I'm not going to debunk them one by one but that isn't an impressive list and the majority of people agree.

Pelosi isn't the problem.

I don't get your point. I think Rashida Tlaib is right. Spanberger is definitely wrong to say that anybody who says anything to make suburban whites uncomfortable needs to shut up but I'm not sure Pelosi disagreed with that, just that "If we run this race again we will get fucking torn apart again in 2022."

That's not even the race Dems ran, but of course Pelosi will disagree with any criticism of strategy under her leadership.

Who are you saying this exchange reveals to be the problem?

Pelosi isn't the problem.

Like Hillary, the republicans did a long, and steady negative campaign against Pelosi. These folks have taken to it hook, line, and sinker.
So no matter what you say, or what counter argument you provide. They will side with that negative campaign.

30 million people with healthcare.
Auto industry saved
Financial crisis stopped

Bernard Sanders has been in the government for 30 fucking years What do we have to show for it?

The far left played revolutionary in Portland rioting and putting shit on fire, while BLM took the blame and Fox used that scare the shit out of people in the suburbs. THAT'S what cost Dems in down ballot races. The same places Dems did so well with in 2018 they struggled with because the left likes to play riot then go back home to the suburbs. If you fucks hadn't have given the Republicans a whole ass platform to run on, they would have had to run on Covid and the Senate would have flipped.

You guys have the nerve to cause the problem then blame everyone else for the shit you did.

Dems need to tell the far left to fuck all the way off. Go form your own shit.

I'm not pointing TO anyone as the problem, just saying Nancy is not it. Nancy is doing what she can with what she has.

Dems, including house members, were mad at her for passing bills while doing the impeachment investigation, instead of being 100% impeachment. They said the house focused on impeachment at the expense of the country. That was the first charge leveled at dems that couldn't stick because Mitch had 300+ bills on his desk the house brought to vote.

She supports BLM, while dems want minimize it. All these folks here saying dems don't support black folks, well Nancy does, and she had Obama's back his 8 years.

Nancy knows how Washington works. She sees the big picture and doesn't go for short term feel good wins that won't amount to anything.

That's never backfired on Dems before!

You would think this would be a serious discussion after this RBG shit. I have mixed feelings about Pelosi. But it's time. We need new energy, new ideas, new progressive leaders. And if I remember correctly, I swear Pelosi said she was going to have a plan to hand over the reigns when she was up for being speaker last time.

Dems need to tell the far left to fuck all the way off. Go form your own shit.

The people who whine about Jill Stein and even Susan fucking Sarandon have no business telling anybody on the left to go anywhere.

The fucking audacity you people have to get your way with senile conservative Joe Biden and still blame the left when you underperform. It's always somebody else's fault. Now it's protestors in Portland who are responsible, never the conservative Democrat you backed. :smh:

As far as Trump, this fuckery falls on us for allowing him to become president in the first place. For Bernard Sanders for keeping his campaign against Hilary going months after she had secured enough delegates to win. For all the folks who allowed the term superpredator or who always believed whitewater conspiracies or any other bullshit from the 90s, or who just didn’t want a woman president, for all the people on this board and across the internet that worked everyday trying to convince people not to vote, for every progressive that voted Jill Stein, for people like Susan Sarandon that said Hilary was just as bad as Trump.

Those same "conservative" Dems won big in 2018, just two years ago. Progressives didn't win jack shit. Show me one example of a progressive flipping a red seat.

You guys just blame the Dems that do win for not surrendering and doing what you want them to do. If you wanted Bernard to be the nominee, GET THE FUCKING VOTES.

That's YOUR responsibility. And if you can't get the votes, stop complaining.

Republicans ran against YOU. Not us. How many times did Trump and other Republicans say Dems were the party of taking away private healthcare and making gasoline illegal. Those aren't our positions. They're yours. And yet that's ALL Republicans talked about. When did you ever hear a Republican run against a public option?

Running against your policies and your ideas, Trump was able to roll out the largest Republican turnout IN HISTORY. They came out to stop YOU. They came out to stop socialism, and medicare for all, and the green new deal. Them's facts.

You guys never accept just how unpopular you are and that's why you lose almost every election you enter.

And then you have the fucking temerity to tell someone else how to run a campaign.

Get the fuck all the way out of here.

You expect the right to accuse conservative Dems of being more conservative than they are? Of course they paint them as further left. That's nothing new. That's why parties exist!

They called Obama a socialist, too. Nobody even knew who Bernie Sanders was back then. But I suppose the 2010 tea party wave can be blamed on him and DSA as well.

It's just audacious to claim that Clinton's defeat and the collapse of the party under Biden show how unpopular the left was. It reads as satire.

Nancy Pelosi has been the highest ranking member of the House for nearly 20 years, since 2003. Harry Reid became the Dem leader in the Senate two years later. Since then, the only top leadership change was Harry Reid stepping down after nearly killing himself on a treadmill for young up and comer Chuck fucking Schumer to take over.

There are voters who literally can't remember any Democratic leadership beyond these old white fossils. I'm in my mid-30s and the only top Dem leaders my entire voting life have been Pelosi, Reid and Schumer. I don't know why the MSNBC liberals think that they each are entitled to reign as long as Queen Elizabeth.

They're addicted to old centrists. I don't know what's going to change it man. I don't have anything against centrist politics. But letting them
run everything is how you end up chasing rural white voters instead of the growing population that's going to define the future and that's why
they underperformed in TX and FL as well.

The thing that proves how unpopular the left is is the fact you lose almost every election.

i’d be all for Hakeem Jeffries taking over. And I don’t think this party should chase rural white voters ever again.
