I'll be honest: I did not exactly expect a blue wave, but damn, if I didn't think people might show a little something different about themselves this go 'round.
Even if/when Biden wins, those are some ugly numbers. Blame a weak candidate all you want, but that is way too many people being okay with Trump being an absolute trainwreck to ever feel comfortable again. And I'm not saying that I was "comfortable" comfortable, but people will literally shoot themselves in the foot if they think the bullet might hit you in the chest.
But damn, I hope Biden pulls this off, because there ain't no good shit coming, even theoretically, if Trump gets back in the big chair. I know people are gonna be like "we'll get by" but I'm tired of hearing/living that shit. I want the Trump era over, and we can move on to new fuckery.

I'd say about 60-70% of white folks have some level of disdain for non whites, but the overt racists are at about 40% and rising.
