$110...Damn you must have bought that call option awhile ago.
Facts I've been patiently waiting taking on all puts and buying calls when AAPL was down to $104 last month. I sold a put spread at $102.50 strike! Whoever bought that giving me all they money

What are your thoughts on the price action tomorrow on $AAPL? Do you anticipate a major fall in price after the event? ($116-$118 range?)

I think it will gap up to $130 PM and you gonna have profit takers and FOMO through the event at 1pm. After that no idea. I plan to be outta there before then.

And come through that bitch did!!! Turned my whole account around today. I was down to 50% of my account and now I am back up to where I was when I opened my account right after my first big win. Patience paid off. I took wins off NIO, FCX, SPY, WKHS, and AAPL. Feeling great today. I'm almost all in cash right now.

Don't give it back man...Money Management! Scale back and don't get greedy.

How are you identifying your AH plays for potential scalping opportunities?
AH seems so haphazard to me.
PM/AH are times I am least likely to trade. I was losing more than winning, so I pretty much don't do it. It's because the majority of the "runners" are unknown stocks that I have no insights into where they should be. So I was just (FOMO) jumping in. Now, I only participate in stocks that I know about.

Today, DHPC was trending down and I knew where it run to (at least $1 or $2 higher). Someone in TOS chat said it was worth watching. I started watching it at around 3:45pm, and figured it'd sell off right before the bell. It didn't so I jumped in and rode it to $26.825.

It was really good.
I sold AAPL, BA, BAC, SAVE,DIS.
I still have some holdings for AAPL to see how it swings.
Will reload DIS on the downturn.
Got back into CCL and SAVE and AAL.
Also have some plays on PRPO and MARA slated for this week.
HMHC is also a very nice swing trade.

Johnson & Johnson just had a major hiccup in their covid19 clinical trial
expect their stock to take a hit tomorrow.
depending on how low it goes, i may buy in on the dip.

Wow... we will see what the dip may bring...if its nice im in... right now im waiting on all this election stuff...before i go big...

Nervous today on the Market.
Who the hell knows what's going to happen with $WKHS, $DPHC, $AAPL, $JNJ, etc
Lots of moving parts...

I'm not sure the rest of the week and especially today is the time to be risky on your positions.

These events, mergers, problematic covid trails need to settle a little before I make any meaningful moves. Anything beyond that is a "guess" at best and you better hope who you're on the right side.

I feel you, just gotta do your best to take advantage of the volatility.. in either direction.

Brutal start to the morning with the Workhorse news. My avg price was $23.31. When it dropped below $25, I sold. Damn shame how much I was up just yesterday. I sold my DPHC too, no since in holding it when it was going to drop below my buy price. I'll revisit once the dust settles.

Yikes! Hopefully, you didn't lose too much.
I wasn't touching $WKHS, $AAPL etc.
Every time those big-name stock has a major event it seems the run-up "is" the event.
Take the profits and run before the actual date of the event.

Nah I was in both for a few weeks. I was up nicely yesterday when the price was $29+. So today, I'm figuring it would reached $35 if the contract was announced. So when it started tanking, I held until I saw it starting to get close to my buy prices. I sold to stay green.

Any thoughts on $SPAQ?
Fisker is supposed to go on with Cramer this friday and there's supposed to be a decision on their merger at the end of October.

I'm bag holding on it. As soon as I go green, I'm out. When I got into these plays I didn't have a routine yet. Now, I am more focused on swing trading stocks that can move +5% in a day or so.

swinging ONTX and NAKD
i was very bullish. 12,000 shares of NAKD........and 4,000 shares of ONTX
even if it goes up 0.50.....on either......im very good.

I don't know how stocks under $1 don't scare the hell outta ya'll.:smh:

That would give you an almost 5K profit...

How often does something like that happen?

nah man.....thats where i profit the most. mainly because i dont have to spend that much.
im up at 4am to check my screeners every morning.....and there are quite a few stocks under a $1 that
i make great gains on. hell i got a friend that buys like 30k to 40k shares at a time if its between .10 and .50
but i mainly focus on the best plays. but if i can spend $500 - $1,000 and get 5k to 10k shares, knowing that the
stock is bound to have 20% gains for that day.....then that trade was well worth it.
ONTO, RETO, VTNR.....all penny stocks that had over 15%+ gains today.
stocks like that are my bread and butter.

Yeah? I might have to try that.
Trading 101 tells you to say away from those penny stocks.

Might also explain why I'm always seeing those stocks have a 50% gain and it's like from 0.43 to 0.57..

LOL!

yeah, ....and when u buying 20k and 30k shares at a time....you can walk away with a $5k profit just off a 0.14 increase in share price.
imagine those that do that daily or weekly.....the good outweighs the bad.
i may take a loss on 1 out of every 10 plays i make.....but its never that substantial, unless its an issue with the trading app, like what happened to me with webull a few weeks ago.

Damn...Are these quick in and out plays?
I assume the price action happens so quickly that by the time you buy/sell it's at a different price.

Also, are there delays in buy/sell during premarket hours on those kinds of stocks?

yeah im buying and selling within the hour......so im watching the charts in real time so i know when to sell or when to stay in.
if i dont see a stock drop below a support level....i'll stay in. normally i'll set my SL and exit when i've made a decent profit.
there have been times where i've exited too quickly....and the stock went up $2 or $3 more dollars. or like WIMI did back in July,....
where i bought in at $4....and sold at $16.....and it eventually went up to $24 before coming back down.
same with UONE in June....i bought in at $1.45.....sold at $26.....and i think it got as high as $50 at one point.
missed out on a $50k play had i stayed in. every blue moon there are gonna be runners like that......just gotta be around to catch em when it happens.
one good play can turn your fuckin life around.

NIO stock (ticker: NIO) was up almost 10% to $23.73 in premarket trading after the bullish call.
Lai thinks China's EV penetration will be four times higher by 2025, meaning that about 20% of all new cars sold in China would be battery powered. That is good news for all EV players. Lai also rates the stock of Xpeng (XPEV) a Buy, with a $27 price target. He doesn't cover the other pure-play Chinese EV startup Li Auto (LI).
