That club was winning 55 games without Mike. Think how fucking good a squad has to be to win 55 games without it's main star. Those rocket teams weren't winning 50 games without Hakeem. The Bulls team had the team that went to finals on the ropes.

This title is going to be overlooked because of the opponent and the bubble season... but it will be appreciated more (at least in terms of Lebron) later on. When you look at the titles he's won with 3 different organizations, take a real look at how different the teams are. There probably is no player in NBA history that's easier to build a team around than Lebron. This Lakers team was so much different than the other squads and especially the narrative of surrounding Lebron with shooters. I haven't looked at the stats, but this has to by far but the worst title team (in terms of pure shooters) he's ever been surrounded by. I bet you this squad ranks in the bottom half of all the major shooting categories like 3 point field goal percentage, etc

People seem to ignore that Jordan got swept 3 straight years by the Bucks and the Celtics twice and then couldn't beat the Pistons for 3 straight years until the year he won his first title. That's 6 straight years of playoff failure but people want to ignore it and want to crucify Lebron's shortcomings in the Finals and playoffs. It happens to every superstar.
And,no I'm not saying one player is better than the other but people need to stop acting like Jordan never loss in the playoffs.
