Flu Shot?

For those of you that have gotten the flu shot in the past, do you trust getting it now?

What I mean is pharmaceutical companies are all trying to create the vaccine for coronavirus, how can we trust them not to try to use us as Guinea pigs, more than usual?

Maybe I'm overthinking it but something about all of this doesn't sit right with me.

Please don't say we shouldn't have been getting the flu shot before...
I am not getting one this year. Everything is extra fucked~up under trump. Fuck around and become a real life walking dead.

My son begged me not to get it as well. I was talking to a friend that's a MD and he said he doesn't think it's a good idea either. I said are you serious, he said very and he knows my health very well.

got one back in 2017,...because i had to for my job at the time, which required me to be onsite at different hospitals on the east coast.
other than that......i hadnt had a flu shot since i was in elementary school.

what i have come to find out regarding Covid testing is..........the govt is keeping the dna from all those tested in their database.
its one of those gotcha moments, where the testing for this virus is similar to getting a DNA test.
they get to kill two birds with one stone. test you for the virus....and get your dna on file.
its fucked up.....but thats what it is.

Requirement for my job. Havnt had the flu in 10 years. I’ve been sick URI but not flu.

My job gives us free flu shots every year and I get one. I can't remember the last time I had the flu, it's been several years tho.

It’s only good for 4 months. Get it late Oct to late Nov. still may not protect you. I always get it though.
