Antonio Moore goes after Jay Morrison’s Real Estate Investment Fund: Stay tuned for TREF Part II

Well, he really did go to jail though.
From the looks of things, he might be going again?

Ol fake wannabe make believe street creed ass negro! Mf was clear as day! WHEN? Hood folk know you if you went to Timbuktu and came back! Somebody will know you because you rarely hustle with your true name, you have a name but it won’t always be your legal name. And if it is you’ll still be at least recognized! This dude fronting! You ain’t never slang shit!

Some Brotha is claiming that Jay stole his story.

Everybody claims their real estate strategy is unique and it's all bullshit. It's the same information getting regurgitated and now it's all online for free. I'm sure Jay Morrison is a fraud or at the very least in over his head at this point, but Kenny is the first former dealer to turn real estate flipper? Gimme a break.

Lying piece of shit! Break his fucking jaw! If it’s not a scheme why not answer your investors and give them back their damn money? Dude blocking and ignoring the people asking for their money back. I know somebody is gonna fuck this dude up one day or maybe kill him.
Not a supporter, but didn't he tell people they couldn't take their money out when the felt like it?

See this is why I say black folk need to stop talking about what wees going to do as a collective and start talking about what are you going to do for yourself. If each individual family, or individual does for themselves. Then you don't have to worry about what J Morrison is doing, or aint doing.
Because whether he is on the up, and up, or not. He going to still get shitted on because we have an inherent distrust of each other.
I give respect to those who are willing to put themselves out there to be judged by hundreds, thousands, and millions of folks who have their own agenda, bias, etc.....
Each individual doing for themselves and taking responsibility for you, and yours is the best way to strengthen the black community.

What he's doing only serves to reinforce the notion that WE can't trust doing business with one another, don't you think?

Also, GROUP economics goes a helluva lot farther than individuals doing for self. Doing for self and family goes without saying, but how do you uplift the collective if you feel compelled to keep your distance from them. Doesn't that just create competitive households...keeping up with the Jones'?

We's gone have to become a collective just like all these other groups in order to solidify our community.

Who said anything about keeping distance from each other?
Right now there are individual black businesses who aren't a part of a collective but they are helping not only themselves but their communities.
You can collectively do for your family and your community without having to be dependent on a collective such as the "black Wallstreet".

The same goes for having safe communities. If each individual family raises their kid/s. Then you won't need a collective like the police, the state, gangs, etc..toraise your kid/s.

Don't wanna defend dude but it ain't easy doing real estate and being vocal about blackness on that level, cacs can easily not buy what they don't need and wait for you to fail then swope in for cheap. We don't know why he bought those expensive properties in ATL without knowing the clientele that usually purchases them.

Dude was too vocal and too naive and didn't think this over, I do agree as black folks honestly we gotten go for dolo one on one, that's just the way we're built as a people.

i dont know about this bruh....

i agree with the above poster in that if everyone starts to do for themselves....then the collective by default does better....if there are multiple businesses hiring and investing into the community....how is that a bad thing? thats NOT distancing from each other at all

The whole premise of this thread is about GROUP ECONOMICS, is it not? Was that not the purpose (selling point) of the Tulsa Real Estate Project?
That's the point of contention here.

Everyone who CAN do for self ARE doing for SELF right now. So when do we come together in clusters to begin to bring up as many as we can? If we're not bringing it all together under an umbrella, it's just a bunch of individuals/households who are doing well.

At least that's how I interpreted BKF.

That's exactly my point.
