There is a lot of debate about this. And people talk about how badly Trump was polling (historically) even before Covid. However, I firmly believe
that had Covid not hit, Trump would have won. Shit, even with covid, had he been even remotely competent, he would have coasted. The economy would have been ok and then to most of America, Trump hadn't fucked up enough for them to be "worried" about all the bullshit he does.
However, now people know his incompetence can cost you your life.
