{~~~Guns, Guns and Mo' Guns - The Right To Keep And Bear Arms~~~}

Has this been answered?
I ended up joining anyways and participate in the Facebook group for the chapter in my area. I've learned a lot since doing so and have interacted with a lot of them in person as well. It has a fraternal vibe and there are some discounts with associated vendors/manufacturers as well but I haven't taken advantage of any of those as of yet.

Anyone running a Vortex Venom? I have a Springfield Vortex Venom plate coming in the mail that i'll be putting on my 10mm XDM and am wondering if I should go with the 3MOA or 6MOA

How do the Holosun optics compare?
Holosun is good to go. I prefer their pistol red dots over my Vortex. I personally can't discern a difference in dot or glass clarity.

3 or 6moa choice, is going to depend on if you are going for precision or speed in regard to target acquisition. I run 6moa dots on my pistols. I do have a 3moa, but rather the larger.

Yo, my 10mm carbine ejects shell casings about 10 to 15 feet away. I have never seen that shit before in my life! Unless I can get the end of lane on an inside range, this is going to be an outside range weapon. I would hate for my shell casings to be bouncing into the next person's lane!
Man my 10mm XDM be mad disrespectful spitting cases back at my damn safety glasses like "fuck u & these punk ass FMJs"

Try using a deflector break.

I was on a thread on FB and saw someone talking about shooting .40S&W rounds through a 10mm pistol. Have any of y'all tried that?

I just got back from the range breaking in the CANIK TP9SFx with the Vortex Viper red dot optic. I was surprised at how accurate the optic was. Just from looking, it seemed like it was high and I was gonna have to adjust it. But what it really made me do was re-evaluate how I was holding the gun. Once I got my positioning right, them jawns was going right where the dot said they would. Some of the best shooting I've done at the range yet.

I just ordered a Vortex Venom for my XDM and am considering getting something for my Canik as well. I'm debating between another Vortex Venom or maybe try out the Holosun.

i hear the Venom is great. I think it's 3 MOA, the Viper is 6 MOA. But I'm loving this jawn.

Finally brought the Canik Elite home yesterday (waiting period seemed like a month). First impressions now that I've had a chance to get to really know her... she's built tough. The slide has some weight to it and the spring isn't light at all, which I like. The trigger is INCREDIBLE... very comparable to the PPQ. It fits nicely in the hand, but after you've held a VP9 and/or PPQ, nothing else really compares. It'll work, but I wish it felt like those aforementioned firearms. She's beautiful and the cerakote finish is very well done! Overall, I'm giving her an 8/10, which would be subject to change once I have some range time.

Didn't I tell ya. If the VP9 had the Canik trigger, it'd be perfection and not to say the VP9 doesn't have a good trigger but the trigger on the Canik is amazing.

I was all set to get a red dot for my Canik TP9SFX but the sight on it was so dead on I 2nd guessed it. My 1st time EVER shooting it was to try for my permit, I dead eyed 50 rounds. Even the instructor was bugging!! I need to vary things though because at the moment I got 4 9mms. Last one being the Walther PPQ Q5 Match steel frame. Any ideas on where I should go next??

10mm. Almost as big as a .45 but with much more punch & easier to find ammo. Hunters use it as self defense against bears so if it's good enough to take down a bear it's good enough to take down a Klansman

Gun stores seem to be sold out of fucking everything!! I dead ass don't go to the range now cuz 9mm bullets are sold tf out everywhere I look or just them $40 20 round hollow point boxes. What's a good 10mm that's reliable that's not gonna cost me over 6-700?

Springfield XDM 4.5" barrel. You can get one on sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com for about 600

Out of stock, like everything nowadays
They have the threaded barrel model still in stock for $670

That's the model I have but in all black. They also have the 5.25" barrel model in stock as well but that one costs $750.
