We do not know everything. There is so much regarding diseases that we have no real idea of what is going on. Yes, we are learning a lot. Yes, we have come such a long way. But, the reality, we do not know everything. Not even close. We have been wrong about so much and will be wrong about much more.

You just hit on another thing people need to really understand. Most physicians are not people persons. This sounds counter-intuitive. But, they are the nerds you all knew in school who focused on learning and school work. They didn't hang out much. So, when many of them have to get in front of an audience, it is usually awkward. Most ho straight through school from high school, college. Med School, residency, and fellowship without having really lived and experienced life.
