It's crazy,how the Foundation series doesnt get the same recognition as Lord of the Rings. LotR pretty much set the foundation for modern day fantasy while the Foundation did the same thing for science fiction. Hell,Star Wars and Dune were heavily influenced by Foundation...

Yeah I remember reading about Hollywood trying to adapt the "Foundation" series back in the 90's. Never read the books but this series does look cool, Apple put some serious paper behind this.
