You can't say we need a wider movement and then get upset when people try to join. You can expand the movement and actually accomplish something without compromising what you are trying to do. I feel like the movement to "defund the police" is a perfect example of this. You are not going to get a majority of anybody to agree to "defund the police" HOWEVER you could accomplish the exact thing you want by just calling it something else. The real question becomes are you more interested in making a point or actually doing what you stated as your goal. How many states have "right to work" laws that crippled unions and the ability of workers to effectively organize? Those laws would not have been passed had they been called "draconian union busting law to benefit large employers".
