In other words they can bring someone and sign them to a limited match by match deal similar to what they did with Jeff Cobb. Example they could bring in Marty Scurll to work a few matches they could bring in Nick Aldis they could even bring in Kota Ibushi etc. The only problem with this scenario is if Cody were to lose the title to a non AEW wrestler you know that wrestler's reign is going to be relatively short making the whole thing predictable.
