That Selfish fuck could be asymptomatic and give that shit to someone that can cause death...... And he will not take responsibility for it.
Why would he? He’s a white man in America. That Selfish fuck could be asymptomatic and give that shit to someone that can cause death...... And he will not take responsibility for it.
Yeah, I figured there is more testing. I am weary when people use like 'growing death toll' without putting shit into context. A lot more confirmed cases can come about with more testing. I'm more interested in the daily deaths. To me, that tells the story of how this thing is going. Are those numbers up, down, or staying the same is what I want to know. Finally found the testing data for each state, so I did a comparison for Noth Carolina for daily testing versus daily confirmed cases. To no surprise, both daily cases and tests are increasing. North Carolina is testing at an exponential rate.

In other words, more testing will yield more cases. As of now, I can not determine if more cases would have occurred without the increased testing by the state. Once I can determine that stat, then that could give us an indication of more people being infected regardless of the increased testing.

I appreciate all your hard work. It's would I comb this thread for these days.![]()
You’re welcome, fam.
We have to put these numbers into context. For example, the northeast and mid-Atlantic states accounting for 50% of all COVID19 cases is context.
Testing rate vs confirmed rate is context. And as you mentioned, daily death tolls is context.
That’s why I try and think of different ways to present the data, so we can put what we are dealing into context.
This guy, Adam Serwer, is an excellent writer, his articles are must reads.
Yeah this is a LONG one tho. I posted it in full in the protest thread. You can only read 3-4 articles a month if you aren't subscribed.
I signed up for one this year. I was pissed when they went behind the paywall last year but I made a decision to support journalism. I subscribed to the magazine anyways for the last several years.
