As of Wednesday morning, there were 44,275 total cases in the state. That's an increase of 689 in the past 24 hours.

Georgia is also reporting 1,899 deaths -- an additional 46 in the past day -- and 7,647 hospitalizations, an increase of 136.

Fulton County has the most positive cases in the state with 4,258. That's followed by DeKalb County with 3,486 cases and Gwinnett County with 3,336 cases. See the list here.

Here is an interesting stat. Out of all the total confirmed COVID19 cases in the United States, about 47.23% of all cases are coming from these six states.

Finally found the testing data for each state, so I did a comparison for Noth Carolina for daily testing versus daily confirmed cases. To no surprise, both daily cases and tests are increasing. North Carolina is testing at an exponential rate.

In other words, more testing will yield more cases. As of now, I can not determine if more cases would have occurred without the increased testing by the state. Once I can determine that stat, then that could give us an indication of more people being infected regardless of the increased testing.
