Without having seen it, it doesn't sound like this one was Nia's fault.
It sounds like a typical spot where the wrestler is thrown into the ring steps.
It's up to the person going into the ring steps not to injure themself, not the person doing the throwing.
I agree with that assessment. They may have to find bigger workers and maybe have a division for them. Most of these women are like 180lbs. tops. Nia has over 100lbs. on each, she is a liability. However the problem should not be size. Awesome Kong is a good big worker who tries to be be careful and thoughtful of her much smaller opponents. Nia lacks that discipline. If she is not going to get fired then they need to start hitting her with fines so she will learn more care.
we'll have to see and that might be the case with most matchups
but may not apply with Kari (the lightest woman on the roster) vs Nia (the biggest woman on the roster). if it were anyone other matchup maybe it wouldnt have happened or maybe its one of those things in wrestling where accidents happen
but with Nia's track record she doesnt get the benefit of the doubt from me
I've seen Kairi Saine wrestle men and not get injured. Nia is just a terrible wrestler.

I don't disagree, she is pretty bad. She's only still around because she's the Rock's cousin and has size.
However, I'm not sure this particular spot was her fault but she doesn't get the benefit of the doubt because of her track history.
Rollins also fucked up Finn Balor, ending his run as Universal Champion almost immediately

Nia Jax has a ROSTER of men and women she's fucked up and is still fucking people up to this day. Rollins shouldn't even be brought up at this point.

The AEW World Championship has grown on me, but this looks like it doesn't even belong to the same organization. The circle behind the TNT logo is just too damned plain.
Also, the Red Belt shit just looks bad on screen. From classic NWA to the Universal Championship, a red leather belt never looks good.

I got no problem with the red color, it's a clear nod to the old TV title. The plates just look cheap as fuck.

Yeah. Mad corny. I thought AEW was going to be the serious wrestling promotion. They are doing as much, if not more, campy shit than WWE is.
I think they're trying to do whatever they can to bring in more casual viewers. Being the serious wrestling promotion doesn't bring in casual viewers. That's why NXT's ratings are always so low. People just want to be entertained and if that means doing goofy shit then so be it.
I think the goofy shyt has a place hence why Orange Cassidy is so over. Goofy/comedy has been in wrestling forever, they've had segments and Chris Jericho is GREAT at straddling that fence. The minute you have Darby Allin and Colt Cabana teaming up as a legitimate tag team is when you have to be worried
NXT and AEW are pretty much neck and neck in terms of ratings. Ratings are low everywhere.
AEW sold people a bill of goods on a "sports-based wrestling presentation", but they're doing just as much goofy shit as the WWE.
People are giving AEW a pass because they hate WWE so much and want so bad for AEW to succeed.
AEW does some things well, but often it's too disjointed due to the fact that everyone in AEW is allowed to "do their thing" with little to no supervision.
Say what you will about Vince and the WWE, at the end of he day there is ONE final voice for their product.
