The "Snyder Cut" — an extended version of the 2018 superhero film from director Zack Snyder — will debut on HBO Max next year, WarnerMedia said Wednesday.
The new service from the company, which is the parent of CNN, will be the exclusive home for the cut.


"We're thrilled to bring it to HBO Max next year. It's our job to bring big events to this platform," Bob Greenblatt, the chairman of WarnerMedia entertainment and direct-to-consumer, told CNN Business. "We're in the event business and I can't think of a bigger event for people who love these films and this DC Universe than the infamous 'Snyder Cut.'"

I actually liked Justice League and Batman Vs. Superman save that ridiculous boss battle. 300 was good, Sucker Punch was trash, Man of Steel was okay Dawn of the Dead solid. I "liked" Watchmen, but can he take credit for it, as the source material was already written out. All he had to do was adapt it for the movie. Keep the parts that fans wanted to see, through your own twist to it.

Dawn of the Dead another flick of him standing on the shoulders of greatness and putting his stamp to it. My hopes are not that high with this cat, DC keeps letting him direct these movies thinking what he does in comics translates.

Dawg... It's a comic book! All there is, is dialogue. ;-) There weren't any extra fight scenes in Watchmen that wasn't in the movie. I get it comics like that are huge compared to the 30 pages of your usual comic.
