Probably varies depending on health before contracting the virus and more importantly how severe the reaction was.
Those who've recovered quickly with little or no health issues will probably resume life as it was before.
But those who had a severe reaction that may have resulted in hospitalization, being in a coma, on a ventilator, etc. will probably have to face a new reality.
So far, I think it's mostly anecdotal. I've heard people might lose some lung function temporarily or even permanently, and that there might be increased chance of heart issues later. But again, nothing from a solidly reliable source.
They probably don't know at this point, which would be the really scary thought. We could go from "just the flu" to "a fair percentage of the world having a few years knocked off their life expectancy" pretty damn quick.
