I got a few Brothas hit me up asking what chemicals and how to use them with disinfecting for the coronavirus. With my cleaning business I am certified in infectious cleaning so I will drop some tips to keep you and your family safe.

Cleaning a surface for the coronavirus will require a two step cleaning method. This is extremely important. I can’t stress that enough. You first must prep the surface to be cleaned with a mild sanitizer. Big box store sanitizer products would be something like 409, Spic N Span, Green Works ect. All dirt and dust must be removed or it can deactivate the sterilizing agent in the chemical making it useless

Cleaning Touch Points - everyone knows what those are but I will mention touch points that many forget

Car Keys
Wallet
Credit cards

I don’t know how many people I will see that Will wash there hands just to pick up their keys or credit cards. (The coronavirus can live on metal and plastic for up to three days) So these are critical to maintain a consistent cleaning after leaving the house.

Bleach- this can clean a wide variety but is very unstable as a disinfectant. Dirt can easily deactivate the disinfectant properties of bleach making it useless.

Bleach also evaporated into the air as it dries which can cause your lungs and the rest of your respiratory to become irritated making it easier to catch the coronavirus.

Hot water can cause bleach to become unstable fairly quickly and deactivating the disinfectant properties

Box Store Cleaning products- these are mostly sanitizers meaning they only reduce the bacteria or virus count and not 100 kill them. Only a sterilizer will 100% kill viruses and bacteris. So always remember to use a two step cleaning method

For clarity: for the first step can I prep with just soap and hot water? Props on the tips.

You must have me mistaken with someone else. You were not even in this thread

Some niggas hate knowledge. Some think it is hard to create money. Businesses are really for dummies. Essentially, find out what people want and then supply it to them.

Amazon became famous because many people hated going to the store.

Bottle water became popular because people hated cleaning out mugs

Now if you have toilet paper, hand sanitizer or some mask. You will make a killing because the items are in demand.

basically all people have to do is find something people don’t want to do

I had a different username then and called you out for years after cause you were inflating numbers.

They do offer one step sterilization chemicals but these won’t be found in box stores or retail locations.

One popular one step solution is Lemon Q. Supplies for this are limited as many hospitals and clinics are buying these up in bulk because of the coronavirus. The best bet would be to order online from a local janitorial supply store in your area

Wet wipes are basically useless. You have to saturate the surface you were cleaning with enough chemical for it to stay wet for over 4 minutes. Wet wipes makes that kind of hard to do without using a lot of wipes

is bleach good in washing hands?

bleach then soap?
Here is the main issue with bleach. When it dries it creates particles that float in the air. For many, bleach will cause lung irritation which can create an environment to really cause damage if ever in contact with the coronavirus. 99% of the time people won’t even know they have irritation from bleach

Washing hands with bleach is very rough on the skin and will damage them

but does it kill all the germs?

Important works here. Thank you OP.

Does this same methodology apply to smartphones and devices?

Yep same method would apply to smart phones. What I do is wash my hands then remove my phone completely from the case, then clean my case and wash my hands again. That way I can soak my case good without damaging my phone
