2020 Democratic Debates

Bernie is doing the guy a solid. He understands his chances are all but done save for tragedy or scandal befalling Biden. Hes putting the ball on the tee for Joe to allow him to capture some of his followers before he bows out. He literally gave the nigga the answers to the test and is spoon feeding him policy talking points to gain favor.
Bernie hardcore supporters aren't going to vote for Biden no matter what. The other Bernie supporters will fall in line regardless, and a few will vote for Trump, etc...

"We both support Medicare for-- health care as a human right." :smh:

Probably not. But those nut jobs make up no more than half his supporters. There are a significant amount of Bernie supporters to get.
The thing is there are a lot of folks who supported Bernie 2016 against Hillary, that aren't so much of a strong supporter of him now (even though they are supporting him right now) and will vote for Biden with no problem.

You're fixating on a group of about 10% who would have never voted for the Dem nominee anyway. That's the party's fault, not Bernie's.
That's my point when I said fuck em because they are not needed. The others are movable and don't need a lot of convincing.

Again with this "people still don't know how much it's gonna cost" bullshit.

Did Obama once put a pricetag on the ACA? Obviously not since he campaigned against the individual mandate and they didn't have a fucking bill until 2010.

That makes absolutely zero sense with Trump in the White House. If Clinton had won, that "we don't need 'em" bullshit might have merit. But the Democratic Party does need to convince young people to turn out-- desperately.

Wait..you said I am fixated on a small group of people who would never vote for a Dems anyway but what I said doesn't make sense? You're the one not making sense.

Dems lost the last election so they need anybody they can get.

Non-voters are 50% of the population -- The 10% of Sanders voters come from this group. Democrats obsess over the 2% who voted for Obama but later voted for Trump. A better, smarter party would focus on the 50%.

What the dems need to focus on are those who actually vote. There are more registered dems, than republicans. There are more independent voters than either party. The fight is to increase voter turnout among those who are registered dems, and to win enough independent voters to take it over the top. The Bernie Bros are irrelevant.

The majority of non-voters are not "Bernie Bros." Fighting with Republicans over moderate voters is how we got the party that pushed the crime bill, welfare reform, social security cuts, etc. The system you described hurts black people and no black person should support it. I believe black lives matter, not just black voters. (Mike Brown and Eric Gardner were not likely voters-- poor people generally are not.) We should want a system that is more inclusive of minorities and that would involve a party that brings them into the process rather than fighting over white people in West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio all the time (when it doesn't conflict with serving their white billionaire owners).

Bruh you are just like Bernie. You like to argue, just for arguing sake. I say fuck the small group of people that you say aint going to vote for a dem anyway. Yet you say I didn't make any sense. Now you are on a rant that is unconnected to my post. I'm good...

Just because you can't make the connection doesn't mean there is none. I explained that the small group of Bernie voters who wouldn't vote for another Dem are drawn from 50% of the country. I explained how that 50% includes key figures the Black Lives Matter movement galvanized around and how the rhetoric you are committed to serves the cause of white supremacy. You don't have to reply to this in 60 seconds-- I encourage you to re-read that last post and try to understand it. Let it marinate for a bit.
