I certainly didn't want to see this but a previous post from Claressa a couple of days ago hinted that someone already has the money fronted for the fight. I believe it's Eddie Hearn / DZN. As much as I like Laila, she hasn't been through the Olympics, nor fought anyone like Claressa. Idk Man...

2. You know, I think that Laila's kinda pissed that SHE didn't think to call HERSELF the GWOAT during her time as a play off of her Pop's moniker.
That shit seemed to bother the fuck out of her that Clarissa is claiming it so boldly. I think that it's at least a small component of it...she could've branded the shit out of that.

Shields is only 24 and has only been in 10 fights....damn near all going the distance... only 2 KOs

Laila's has 22 of her 24 fights ending in KO or TKO.

I thought there was a bigger gap in their body stats...

But they both fight at middleweight and they're both about 5'9. Not sure about the reaches....but Laila has proven she's a finisher and has the power to end it....what's crazy is Laila retired in 2007....damn 13 years ago.... that's BIIIIIIIG

Its not gonna be a walk in the park and she also has to get re-accustomed to taking a punch......

I was set to say Ali for the win, but now.....I'm not sure

My sentiments as well!!! Laila is too damn fine!!! There could only be 1 Muhammed Ali!!! It is crazy eerie how this looks on paper though, Clarissa gives up two inches in height and reach. Also, she has only had 10 total fights and no losses, according to Wikipedia. Laila, on the other hand, has twice as many at 24 total fights and no losses. This is one of the things that irks me about boxing. One fighter has twice the number of fights and holds a belt, then another one puts together a few successive wins then gets to talk shit about how they deserve a shot at a title belt!!! This sounds like the female version of Frazier vs Ali!!!

Laila was being disrespectful, and has played into this shit. Laila is supposed to give her props BH it she didn't. Then followed the bullshit up. They're not like regular people. If they got beef, they can suit up, fight, and get paid for it. I say , let em do it.
