What's more, he knows exactly what he's doing and the risk attached to it. And what's crazier is that while people allege that this is the whistleblower, it's entirely possible that it isn't even the whistleblower. Which is somehow worse than outing the actual whistleblower.
And the even crazier part is that they already know that the whistleblower complaint is irrelevant. Trump has both been proven by evidence and by his own admission to have done what they said he did. It's just a question now of if anyone cares enough to follow up on it.

Folks didn't see the sky fall the day after or month after or year after Trump was elected, so they don't think his presidency or the party in power matters. Damage is done day by day, act by act. By the time it is truly evident, it will be too late.

Yup fascism creeps. This naive idea that it arrives fully formed runs counter to actual historical examples. It's why I hate so much of the shallow "both sides" political analysis here.
