I was told when I was in the military, to not use the towel more than 3 times and wash cloth twice. They said the army has done studies on this, may sound far fetched but remember the army loses a ton of soldiers to diseases and has a vested interest in finding out.
That ain't gone fly in the Navy on ships. You don't have enough room for extra towels and stuff.

white people just use the bar of soap and hands so there's that.

I personally use a microfiber cloth 91% alcohol and 5000 grit Emery paper to keep my body fresh.

Seriously I use a back scrubber, washcloth and body sponge. Washcloth gets washed every day at work and I rotate them at home. I hit my stuff at work with peroxide and the stuff at home with diluted bleach water to disinfect.

I thought weekly was cool. I learned to change my towels every 3 days. Washcloths are supposed to be changed everyday or every other day tops.

towels 2-3 days tops.
A face cloth, I'll switch every other day but I use a fresh bath towel after a shower. I a loofa to shower with and extract as much water out as possible and then spritz it with a bit of bleach to air dry...rinse before the next use and replace in one month.

I got a lot of towels, nice towels, too.. from Macy's, and the previous homeowners left a closet full of towels... but I still be using the same drying towel for a week or 5 :dunno:

I figure it don't get that wet, I wipe myself down by hand before stepping out shower, then I dry off. That towel be dry in a couple hours. Even in winter time the heat stay on 80°, it's always dry when I come back to it.

I don't really use face towels or hand towels at all. They just sit in the closet.

These the exfoliating gloves, just squeeze em out and hang em in caddy:

How often do you wash the gloves, or do you just replace them?

Replace them when they start showing signs of wear. I use em for my whole body, I notice I shower faster now. Just rinse, wring, & hang em up.

Even with showering twice a day they always be dry

Once a week on Sunday.

Someone posted the gloves I use those.

Use about two dry off towels a week and same for hand towels. One wash cloth for the week two if it gets extra dirty.

Awww lawd not the ass gloves

If I gotta wash my face, I feel like I need to take a shower. Two a days is common

Rarely do I just wash my face

When I was in the Army, they issued you 2 towels and 3 washcloths. If you want more, you had to buy them. They were cheap stringy brown cotton. If you bought some nice ones from the store, you couldn't leave them out. They had to be put away in your locker.

I use both washcloth and exfoilating gloves but I don't think its smart to use the gloves every day thats too much for your skin

Weird question but I remember your post years ago about your undergoing laser hair removal on your face, how did that turn out?

I've always thought about that shit especially now that I work in an office and hate having to shave so often but I'm still worried about doing something like that.

I had laser hair removal (ipl) on my head. I had a problem with hair not being able to penetrate scar tissue after a bad burn, so they tried to just kill the hair. I had more than ten treatments and hair still grows on most of my head. It did stop growing on parts, but not any part of my head that has normal skin. I used tweezers to pull most of it out too, so I don't know how much can really be credited to the ipl. At first patches died, but eventually grew back. It works better the less melanin you have. I was too dark and am am not dark skinned. It hurts too. So, unless you are very light skinned, I wouldn't suggest it.

Good looking.

Those are some of the things I am concerned about.

I am light skin so maybe it would be a different experience but I'm also worried about it being "patchy" or uneven which would look weird if some areas were thicker than others.

And plus I don't want to get rid of my facial hair I would just want to have it be a little "thinner" and not grow so quick.

two washclothes bruh i don't even wash my face in the shower.

I use liquid soap so I only use the washcloths for my body and never my face/head since I can just use my hands.

Washcloths are more important for private areas and lower body IMO to make sure those areas are cleaned properly.

yeah my wife forbids bar soap in the house like it's poison or something so i'm stuck with liquid soap. i have to use something on the face though my skin is has oily and dry regions and using hands doesn't wash off dry skin

Uhhhhhh....... Gloves bruh?

Sounds like a bunch of single dudes in this thread. Not sure what kind of work you daily new towels fellas do, but thats not something needed in my house.

I have 3 kids, so using a new towel every 2 days is out of the question. All the kids have 2 sets of towels - They use them at their discretion. All get washed once a week. I have a gang of towels (wife is a towel fiend), and I change them out as needed, but once again, everything gets washed on the weekends.
