I think it matters. Not because I believe they'll remove Trump, but because I think this is going to cause some Republican senators to lose their seats in the next election. Also, Bitch McConnell is on a lot of voter's radar now. Hopefully this hurts him.
That's because their defense was never going to be that he didn't do it. Their defense is that it doesn't matter.
