I like American hand made goods, so I'm familiar with Corter. I'd cop that for $70 with the quickness. The Gator skin and Italian leather raw materials cost more than that alone. That wallet will have a 10year run - easy.

That wallet really isn't 70 to make. It might be 70 dollars worth of material.
They DID NOT buy the same materials used by Hermes nor do they factor in all the people that get paid making a Hermes wallet.

It aint done by machine. It is done by hand and the man who makes it is a master craftsman. He makes 500k+ a year.
He aint doing that shit for pennies. The tanneries, the fabric mills. These places are all in 1st world countries that charge MAD money.
Hermes isn't Nike and they dont make their shit in Asia. They have low MOQs. Some styles might be 20 units.
It is harder to make 20 perfect units by hand that it is to make 20,000 average units by machines.
