Netflix is killing off binge watching

I get it. Netflix is finally getting smart. I binged watched all of Netflix's Lost in Space Season 2 yesterday. There's nothing else on Netflix I want to see right now. I'm considering canceling my subscription until they release something else I want to see.

Meanwhile, I didn't plan on keeping my Disney Plus subscription. But The Mandalorian is getting good. If I could have binged watched an entire season of it I definitely would have then canceled my subscription before my free trial was over.

I do not binge watch shows. I lose interest after the second or third episode in a row. My wife and I are usually at odds when we both like a certain show. Lol.

She be ready to finish it that night. I can mess around and watch two episodes in a row, love the show, and will never watch it again.

She does not have the Netflix account for me. Lol

Netflix just dropped a binge-fest. Witcher. Lost in Space. Fast Furious. You(season2).

Binge model still can work. Netflix is still king of original content and shouldn't let these other places panic them. Disney's Mandolorian is blah and could have been tightened up and dropped as binge.
I agree. They changed the game with that shit. It became like reading a book.

the reason is simple.

Viewers can take time to process the episode, and create memes.

Their leverage as increased considerably so the move is natural.

Supply and demand. Basic economics. Great for their bottom line, sucks for us as viewers.

Fast Furious ?

Some people will watch 13 episodes in a sitting then run to the internet to talk about it before the last episode ends.

I think releasing half then waiting a week or so to drop the 2nd half of the season will allow people to be in some sort of accord.
Best of both worlds right there.

"but now that Disney+ and Hulu are threatening to make a better deal for families, the case can be made that Netflix is in danger of becoming irrelevant."

I just don't see people deleting their accounts because there's a new service. $6 bucks or whatever Disney is charging is negligible to most people. If you have a favorite show on Netflix then you aren't going to dump that service because another service comes along. Original content is the key.

Good series. And it’s a good series to watch with your kids.

If you like Stranger Things, you will like Raising Dion.

The little boy is annoying, but as you watch it you understand why.

Looking forward to season 2.
Yeah what turned me off was it being rated TV PG or some shit but Stranger Things is cool though so if its in that lane I can watch it with my little girl.

When we are introduced to the Mom's sister, she is a in the closet lesbian.

There is just one scene, in my opinion they could have left out, with her and her Doctor lover hopping into a hospital bed to spoon. They could have her as a lesbian, its that that scene was inappropriate for a show like this.

I can't remember what episode it is, but you know hn its about to happen.

Most people have been "meh" about Disney+ and polls are showing the same

Netflix is still going to reign.

The binge is loved and I do it as well. It's so convenient in our busy world.

This is the period of time when Disney+ us dipping their toes in the water. The real push not gonna come until the fall of 2020 when Falcon/Winter soldier drop.

2021 is gonna be the year when Disney plus is gonna storm niggas with all kinds of original shows and movies

I'm the exact opposite...I'll binge watch a show over a weekend and then it will seem like i haven't watched the show in 2 or 3 years and it hasn't been a year...like im wondering right now, why there isn't a new season of Bosch out yet and it came out this year...lol
