I never said it was the main or only one, but if I caught the dog whistles, I'm sure the racist white folks did. Trump didn't give plans, but he did paint a vision. I always ask conservatives if they can tell me what his health care plan contains. They can't tell me, but it's better than Obama's.

Hillary had a hit job similar to what Trump is trying to do with the Biden's. I've listed the voter suppression and other factors ever times before, so I won't do it again.

I was one of those people who thought Obama would do more and be more outspoken in his second term and was disappointed that he wasn't. I also agree with your points about accepting figureheads over results that benefit our community. I just don't think it is either we get benefits OR symbolism.

I think Obama was a good president and a good man. This whole country is conditioned to believe black folks can't lead, that we need people to make decisions for us, that we are morally bankrupt, no fathers in the home and that the only place black families exist is in the fictional world of tv tho America's dad was just put in jail for being a sexual predator. My answer to your questions is for black people to start becoming a swing voter and not be a loyal voter. I don’t even know why we have a 7 page thread.
