In order to win the war we need to put people that represent our interests in positions of power and influence. One of the steps of that process to do that is to run for office ourselves or vote people into office that represent our interests.

A second step is to organize and develop businesses and organizations that are for us and by us to nurture and improve our communities and meet the needs of infants to the elderly.

A third step is to stop being mindless consumers and use our dollars in our communities to build wealth and power vs using our dollars to demonstrate how much wealth we do not have by consuming and purchasing overpriced and unnecessary products.

Once we have started on a path similar to this we can not only demand that the hundreds of trillions of dollars that are due to Black People are paid but that a process is put in place for reparations to actually be paid to Black People.

This is a great question but unfortunately a very complex answer. It is like attempting to empty a pool with a cup. It can be done, you can start from anywhere around the pool, but is the result worth it? I am not saying either way. However, this is absolutely something to consider.

Additionally, @geechiedan brought up a very good point regarding the groups of people who received reparations and these groups not "winning a war." It wasn't that these groups didn't win the war, it was the threat of the alternative which drove the U.S. to make the decision to pacify these groups with reparations aka hush money.

Native Americans: The Native Americans had a valid claim and to appease the U.S. did two did devious actions. 1st, "gave" land back to the Native Americans while systematically and periodically taking it back. 2nd, the U.S. paid only $1000.00 per living descendant. A small price to pay to end the conversation and look like one of the good guys.

It is not easy to ask people to forget everything that he or she has believed. People innately need something to believe in that is stable.
